A soft spoken individual, with a serious nature, Ori tends to think before she speaks and will often say only the bare minimum needed to get her point across. She is more likely to speak up in small groups than she is in a crowd, but even her closest friends would probably not really call her chatty.

She does care about people however, and at her core she's a maternal type, a nurturer. As those she grew up with grow older that they drift apart is somewhat inevitable, and it's no longer in Ori's nature to fight to keep them in her life - so she lets friendships fade away. As for those childhood friends who have gone on to have children, she has actively withdrawn from them in recent turns, finding it painful to be around them.

To most she'll come across as reserved, held back and guarded. She's not unfriendly and she'll always be polite, but even as a child she wasn't one to volunteer information about herself for the sake of it and recent events have only made her more reserved, more reluctant. She isn't sure she could handle the heartbreak of loosing a third child, so actively avoids the potential of getting pregnant again, to the extent of avoiding forming any potential romantic attachments.

Sooner or later, the issue of intimacy would come up, so shutting the door on it completely is easier, as discussing her fear of pregnancy is not something she wants to do - nor does she want to have to organise someone else to take her between. So, she's holding out hope of impressing soon - recognise that Weyrlinghood will be a blessing in this regard - no-one will question her abstinence then - and by the time her dragon starts rising or chasing, they will be going between frequently.
