General Description:

Really doesn't resemble K'ton much but for the dark hair and blue eyes. Looks a lot like his paternal grandfather. Dark brown, longish with a slight wave.

L'ton stands around 5’11” and has sharp blue eyes settled beneath dark brows. His brows are strong, contrasting with his paler skin and slash above his bright blue eyes. Slender hipped, L'ton has slightly broad shoulders that sweep down into a narrow waist and those slender hips.

L'ton has a trim and fit body, something that was developed through his times as a weyrbrat at Katila. L'ton's black hair tends to be shaggy more often than not and he doesn't really take pains to ensure that it is well taken care of. L'ton is not overly concerned with clothing, tending to wear whatever is comfortable but he always ensures that his clothing is well made.

L'ton has deep scars across his right side from a feline attack when he was very young while another refugee was supposed to be watching him. If he had not been saved by a bluerider L'ton would have likely died.

General Personality:

L'ton is a bit hardheaded and stubborn. He is more likely to dig his heels in and refuse to move when given a command he doesn't agree with. He's not aggressive by any means but will make no bones about how he feels about something. This is especially true when he sees something that is more likely to harm someone than help them. He is friendly for the most part and has no real trouble making friends, though he can make enemies just as easily.

He is a lot like his father in personality, overly talkative, and will strike up a conversation with most anyone who seems willing to speak to him. He is genuinely glad to see people, especially those within his inner circle, and is genuinely happy to listen to what other people have to say. He never forgets a name or a face once they've spent some time with him and has a habit of using names every time he sees someone. He's quite charming in this regard and in a much different way than his father is.

While his father is anything but a prude and is often likened to a feline in heat but L'ton is the complete opposite of this. He's not someone who flirts or sleeps with anyone who crosses his path. L'ton is one of those people who will always avert their eyes when confronted with something they shouldn't be seeing and will fumble an apology faster than anything else. He tends to want to build some kind of relationship with that person before diving into the furs with them. The only exception to that is during and after a flight.

716AL & 0: Birth. Product of a flight
716AL & 9months: Banished with Telgar and flew south with mother
717-721AL & 1-5: Not much happens until 721. Loses his mother to the outbreak of firehead, is fostered.
722AL & 6: Attacked by a feline and very nearly died before a bluerider saves his life. L'ton will bear the scars from that attack for the rest of his life.
723-730AL & 7-13: Not much happens here.
730AL & 15: Decides to begin standing. Meets sister Kellian. Doesn't realize she's his sister.
731 & 15: Stands for World Above. Does not impress
732 & 16: Not much happens worthwhile here.
734 & 16-18: Stands for Rhythm of Life, Future Designs, Dangerous Days, The Pursuit, and The Hunted. Does not impress. Isn't down about it. It'll happen eventually. Meets his father for the first time just before he turns 18. Realizes Kellian is his sister and is grossed out.
734 & 18: Stands for the Have Faith clutch, impresses brown Kaliqueth, and celebrates with his father and sister. The landslide happens shortly after killing so many and injuring even more. Kaliqueth and L'ton come out alive, shaken, and with some pretty serious PTSD that he still suffers from to this day.
734 & 18: S'kef takes the dragonriders north, he remains as Kaliqueth isn't ready for that journey and bids his father farewell.
736 & 20: Finally allowed north and settles in shortly before moving one more time. He heads to Ista with some of the others and remains there.
739 & 23: A huge drought covers Istan territory and a fire breaks out during the hatching of Fire & Flames.

It has a streak of darkened cream down one side that looks like a snotty nose was wiped on it.

Weyrlinghood

A fairly uniform russet hide wraps this dragon’s body, with a patch of dark chocolate seeming to form a cape over his shoulders. He will show signs of being a well muscled brown from the first, giving the impression of a large dragon in a small package. His longer than average tail will aid him in ground maneuvers and he will show a bit more maneuverability and flexibility than most browns do. That will carry over into the air and while some large blues will be able to rival him for sheer stamina, he will be able to out maneuver most other browns and all the bronzes.

It will be noted in weyrlinghood that this dragon gains weight very easily and he will tend towards fat if he is allowed to gorge. Exercise and lots of it will help, though keeping him from getting gat will be a challenge for his rider and he will never be a svelte brown.

Kaliqueth

Adulthood

He will stay a fairly compact brown, and still give the impression of being 7 pounds of potatoes in a five pound bag, so to speak as an adult. His tail will stay longer than average, and his wingsize being a hair larger than it should be for his size will aid in the impression of him being too big for his body.

In color, he will retain his russet base color, with it being a hair redder brighter than his baby colors were. Patches of cinnamon will adorn his hide as well, those darker patches seeming to blend into his base color in most lights. He will gain spots on his wing tips, rump, shoulder and nose in the colors of wet beach sand, these standing out starkly against his hide.

Personality

This dragons thoughts and mind seem insubstantial at first, fluff held together with seafoam and moonlight. When they do formulate into something more, they seem almost whimsical and dreamy. He is the one to say odd things, like that the finest firelizard eggs are found under the light of the full moon, or do odd things like decide for a week he will only eat herdbeasts with no black fur. As abruptly as he decided these things, they will be let go and only his rider will know if he is in earnest and truly believes these things or if he is simply enjoying being the class eccentric.

Tending towards viewing the world through rose-colored glasses makes him a bit on the gullible side. He tends to believe what he’s told, and the only thing that can make him not believe it is his rider’s contradiction. He trusts everyone but trusts his rider the most.

Sand: He likes sand. He likes blowing it around. He likes making prints and other designs in it. He like building piles with it. He likes rolling in it. He loves sand!

Spiders: He thinks they’re creepy. And scary and...even worse when squished than when they’re crawling around.
