General Description:
Physically fit and limber with a lean build that suits a preferred fighting style of quick maneuvers, precise strikes, nimble dodges, and endurance. He enjoys the finer things too much to be completely hard and chiseled muscle though, and considers himself pleasant to cuddle with even if he has to flex to make his abs obvious.General Dressing Style:
He prefers lighter fabrics and bright colors, especially yellows, golds, oranges, and reds. Habraxel always keeps a few fine dark suits packed as well when he intends to travel. He always wears a dagger at his belt.Pedro Pascal

Habits & Mannerisms:
He is constantly playing with a knife, usually his favorite one, either cleaning and picking at his nails with it, or running his fingers along its polished bone handle as if it were a worry stone. He frequently slouches and lounges in chairs, even when he's doing business, especially when that business is in his own home.
He also frequently stares at and studies people, either out of appreciation for their physique or as he tries to get an estimation of their physical abilities.
General Personality:
Habraxel feels things strongly, whether it be love, hatred, curiosity, or boredom. He's had to learn and practice quite a bit of restraint, but is still prone to excess when something catches his attention in a certain way. Gregarious and charming, he also knows how to keep secrets, usually employing misdirection with his generally obvious and outspoken demeanor to try and prove he has nothing to hide and distract from the things he doesn't wish to talk about. He can have a bit of a temper, and while he may not enjoy it, he's adaptable enough to work with someone he hates if it will help him achieve his goals. He is a doting and caring father, and despite how active he may be he enjoys relaxing. And while he may frequently appear to be very flippant or uncaring about events around him he can be quite calculating and patient. Unfortunately he does sometimes underestimate a situation and fails to take that into his calculations and plans, but he is good at recovering and coming up with plans and solutions quickly that so far it hasn't done too much damage.
Habraxel is unbothered by violence and enjoys his own participation in it, though he tries not to play up that particular aspect of his life outside of enjoying a good duel and keeping up his practice and training with it for what he insists are purely fitness related reasons.

Secrets:
Why would he have secrets? That's just silly.
• He sleeps with women who aren't his wife constantly, though he doesn't hide that from her at least. He still gives her plenty of affection as well, but he is not very faithful with his physical attentions at least.
• He definitely sleeps with men, though he is a little more discreet about that, usually flirting with men who he has no involvement with to serve as a bit of a decoy for how it's just annoying and strange but harmless. When he does sleep with a man he finds excuses to be alone and will even act bored.
• He definitely killed his father, though he doesn't know if his father was drinking baby blood or not. His primary motive was revenge for the treatment of his mother and because he frankly didn't feel like his wife and daughters would remain safe if his father stayed alive.
See? No secrets.

Known:
• Enjoys attending parties, enjoys flirting with ladies but he doesn't actually sleep with them all that often.
• An excellent duelist and fighter.
• Openly treats his bastard daughter Raxiana as well as the children from his wives.
Rumors:
• He killed his father because he was going to be disowned as Heir and replaced by his father's new son.
• His father was drinking baby blood and that's why he definitely killed the man.
• He didn't kill his father, he was supposed to be traveling with the man but changed his mind last minute thus avoiding his own untimely death. This was clearly a plot by a rival Lord, either from Ista or Keroon.
• He fools around with men, but clearly the Lord loves the ladies and has a lot of kids so that's probably a lie or something.

Important History:
699.04.02 and 0 - Born the second son and fifth child of Lord Braxithan of Igen, the first child of his second wife Havelda. As he grows he gets along well with his older sisters, especially the youngest of them, Ithola.705 and 6 - Younger brother Vexithan is born. His father is overjoyed to finally have another son, but Habraxel is just excited to have a baby brother since his older brother Braviss is a jerk.
709 and 10 - Is gifted a little blue firelizard egg for his birthday, a gift from the Weyrleader of Igen. He adores the little creature that he names Gemmo, and does his best to keep it safe from his sadistic older brother's attentions. Habraxel starts to get into physical fights with Braviss over his brother's treatment of Gemmo, and after his father refuses to either intervene or teach him anything, he goes to a talented and friendly guard in his father's employ, Troveck, and convinces him to teach him how to fight and duel.
711 and 12 - Braviss takes to picking on Habraxel and his sisters more and more as he discovers his father will grant a lot of leniency in exchange for the smallest amount of subtlety in his bullying. So long as no one important can complain about it to his father, Braviss can get away with anything he wants. The fights between Braviss and Habraxel increase but their father continues to let them carry on so long as neither of the boys becomes seriously injured.
713 and 14 - His father arranges to have him marry Alfinnessa, a daugher of the Lord of Lemos Hold, once she turns 16. At first Habraxel thinks the idea is silly and the girl in question boring, but she gradually grows on him as they both get to know each other through letters and the occasional visit.
714 and 15 - Vexithan gets sick and dies. The family is mostly heartbroken except for Braviss who insinuates that if they had more brothers it wouldn't matter as much. This sets off the biggest fight between the brothers, and their father only steps in to break it up when he realizes that Habraxel has the upper hand though the older boy doesn't seem to realize.
715 and 16 - Gemmo disappears and he blames his oldest brother for it. Tired of the tormenting from Braviss, he kills him on a trip through the desert and claims they became separated in a sand storm. Habraxel finds that life greatly improves as he becomes the new heir, his father insists that he learn to relax, attend parties to socialize with other lords and ladies to get to know them better, and more time with harpers to study whatever he would like. He decides to learn to play an instrument while his father is too busy to complain about his frivolous and useless choice.
716 and 17 - Gets married. He's so distracted with his new wife and the ludicrous amount of parties his father throws to celebrate that he doesn't even notice the absence of the dragonmen until months after they had all disappeared. Despite his newly married status, Habraxel still attends parties without his wife (who finds them too loud and busy), and while he still has roaming eyes and wandering hands (and mouth) he at least keeps his flirtations from advancing to anything that could potentially lead to a child.
717 and 18 - First child born, a daughter that he names Naxalla. His father is very condescending and suggests that Habraxel might also be "cursed to have too many daughters and not enough sons." Habraxel does not care though as he finds becoming a parent absolutely delightful with the help of staff for the pesky parts. He becomes even more affectionate and enamored with his wife.
719 and 20 - Second child born, another daughter named Brinessa. His father offers to find him another wife if this keeps up. Habraxel decides his father must be making a joke in very poor taste and dismisses the offer, especially as he finds himself absolutely in love with his wife despite his continued indulgences at parties.
720 and 21 - His first son, Firaxel, is born. With an heir secured his father seems almost relieved. Later that year his father sends him and his family off to Katz Field to gain some practical experience with running a hold by serving as an assistant and steward for the young Lord Casorian whose father recently died.
721 and 22 - Wife becomes pregnant with their fourth child, but it is fraught with complications. She gives birth prematurely to a stillborn daughter, and only barely survives herself. Habraxel decides to take a break from visiting his wife's bed to let her recover, and to keep himself entertained he stops limiting himself in his affairs, though he does try to keep those more discreet.
722 and 23 - At his father's behest he moves his family back to Igen to help his father manage the hold, he maintains a friendship with Casorian and their two families frequently travel to visit each other. While he's settling into Igen he meets and sleeps with Kaya. No regrets. Doesn't know she aborted his baby or maybe he does).
723 and 24 - His mother suddenly falls ill while he's away on a trip and dies before he returns home. His father immediately replaces her with a young merchant's daughter named Tyrosiana. Habraxel finds this suspicious and does not get along with the younger woman who seems to purposefully try to antagonize him whenever his father isn't around.
724 and 25 - After continued pressure from his father to have another child, his wife decides to reassure him it would be safe to revisit her bed. She gives birth to another son, Nebraxin, but she dies shortly after the birth. Habraxel is heartbroken, but his father just dismisses his wife's death while praising him for having another son. He suggests a quick remarriage to a fresh new wife with a lot of brothers and trying for more sons just in case something happens to them like with his brothers.
725 and 26 - A fling with Rasianli, a kitchen drudge, leads to a pregnancy and Habraxel chooses to distract from his grief by caring for his bastard daughter alongside his other children. His father makes a snide remark that a bastard son might have been worth keeping around, and Habraxel decides to spite the man by spoiling his daughters, allowing them to take classes like their brothers if they choose.
726 and 27 - His father arranges another marriage for him with Kessenica, a daughter of the Narat Hold lord. It's a short courtship as her prior engagement had fallen through and she was already 17. They are married within a few months of meeting. Luckily they get along well enough for the most part, though she quickly discovers that his sexual appetites far surpass her own. She does her best to be a good wife and accommodate her husband and he in turn begins limiting his extramarital activities again.
727 and 28 - His father's new wife gives birth to a son and while drunkenly celebrating with Habraxel the man admits to become desperate enough that he was constantly impregnating Havelda, killing the infant girls they gave birth to on his quest for another son. He suggests that Habraxel follow suit for his own children before he gets overrun with daughters or hope that Kessenica is as willing to cull them on her own as Tyrosiana is.
728 and 29 - Habraxel's new wife gives birth to a daughter, Bresseni. His father, stepmother, and their infant son are traveling when their tent catches on fire. Habraxel becomes Lord of Igen.
730 and 31 - His daughter Haxenica is born. Habraxel doesn't have the depth of affection with Kessenica as he had with Alfinnessa but he does find she is growing on him. He arranges to marry his oldest daughter Naxalla to Casorian's heir Cazonel. Since the two already know each other well due to their fathers' friendship, it's a rather easy match, but he still decides not to rush his daughter into the marriage, allowing the two time to get to know each other before they decide to marry.
731 and 32 - Kessenica has a miscarriage. Concerned for her health, Habraxel ensures she is regularly seen by healers and tries to avoid rushing into another pregnancy with her. He keeps entertaining himself with mistresses and side women and men. He takes precautions to avoid producing any bastards.
732 and 33 - Despite trying not to pressure his wife for more children, she insists that he keep sleeping with her. Another son is born, Kessenel.
734 and 35 - Naxalla and Cazonel marry. There is an incident at the party afterwards involving one of Casorian's children and Habraxel politely decides not to tease his friend about it.
735 and 36 - The dragonriders return and while he's intially filled with concern and annoyance as he tries to go through all of the old documents regarding tithes, he's quickly relieved to find that they are not returning to Igen Weyr yet. He also obtains a firelizard egg as a gift, another blue like his childhood pet. He names it Lapis.
736 and 37 - His daughter Kesselica is born. While bonding with his newest daughter he accidentally teaches Lapis to respond to crying children by stealing and bringing random toys to them. Habraxel realizes too late how terribly annoying and inconvenient the trick really is as stolen toys set off other children leading to a mess of shuffled items and a distraught flitter trying to fix it all with more theft. It takes him a while to redirect the behavior so that Lapis instead brings a small treat from a specific jar in the kitchen. Servants are directed to keep the jar from going empty.
740 and 41 - His daughter Essela is born. While he's out grabbing an abortion drug for a friend, he bumps into Kaya and can't help but try laying on the charm again. They start sleeping together casually.
742 and 43 - News of the attacks in the active Weyrs serves as an interesting piece of speculative gossip and he casually collects more information and news about it from travelers, becoming slightly disappointed when the attacks seem to stop for no reason.
743 and 44 - Discovers his daughter Raxiana has been involved in an annoying scandal while she was fostering in Fort involving a Master Harper. With news that some more attacks have happened lately in the Weyrs, he decides to pick his old hobby back up and try to collect some updates while he is traveling.

Education
Details:
He was given a rather good education to begin with as a Lord's son, though his father began to throw private tutors of every type at him once he became heir and tried to keep his practical focus on Hold management, trade, and logistics. On a whim he used one of those private tutors to learn how to play mandolin so that he could provide some music at parties. He's not the best, certainly not a harper, but better than expected for a Lord. He also still maintains a dueling and fighting instructor to practice with as a form of exercise and definitely not because he expects to get into fights.Pedro Pascal
