General Description:

T'drin stands a tall 6'2" tall. His body is long though compact and sturdy, starting with broad shoulders and ending with slender hips. He is a rather muscular individual and he works to keep it that way. Bold blue eyes stare out from beneath a slightly heavy brow. Straight, slashing eyebrows tend to be slightly darker than the rest of his hair. His hair is generally blonde during the summer months and darkens during the winter months.

A strong jaw is usually covered in a short cropped beard, though sometimes he rebels and shaves all but a portion off. For the most part, T'drin remains unmarked though he does have a few random scars here and there from tumbles and scrapes as a child. Though not often seen, T'drin has a lovely smile that is wide and inviting. He has a wide kissable mouth, with the bottom lip being slightly fuller than the top. T'drin has a slightly wide nose that has the appearance of having been smashed once or twice in his life. His nose coupled with his large ears, gave him a comical look as a child before he grew into his features.

General Dressing Style:

T'drin's dressing style in Katila is much as it was in the north. He prefers simple yet elegant clothing with a soft feel. Cotton, supple leathers are his preferred mode of materials. Pants, of course, with well-fitted shirts usually grace his body. Sturdy well made boots are usually seen on his feet though in the privacy of his own rooms or hut he'll wear what ever's comfortable. He's almost always seen with a small sketchbook and drawing utensil, things brought down from the north with him.

Likes:

Firelizards: Such interesting little fellows
Thunderstorms: The thunderstorms in the south often remind him of storms in Nerat.
Sketching: T'drin is rather talented with his technical application though it's hard for him to breathe life, so to speak, in his subjects.

Strengths:

Focused: T'drin can focus on the task at hand almost blindly
Determination: T'drin has a determination that could move mountains. When he sets out to do something it gets done.
Confidence: Though he was the third son, T'drin has quiet confidence born from the knowledge that he and his family were important in the world, though minor they were.

Dislikes:

Leaving things undone: T'drin hates to leave any project undone and often will stay up hours later than normal to finish it.
Babies: He doesn't mind bigger children but babies terrify him.
Cooking: He's not very good at it, so he'd much rather have someone else do it for him.

Flaws:

Temper: Though T'drin is rather slow to burn his temper is something to be reckoned with. Its gotten him in trouble countless times.
Curiosity: You wouldn't think curiosity could be a flaw but his need to know about everything is what landed him in Katila in the first place.
Grudge holding: T'drin can hold a grudge with the best of them. Sometimes, like Gelabrith, he can't even remember why but the grudge remains.

Habits & Mannerisms:

T'drin often rakes his hands through his hair, this is especially apparent when he's nervous. Taps foot when he's angry.

General Personality:

Tamordrin likes to think of himself as a happy go lucky guy, but in realty he's not. He's often withdrawn and solitary, preferring the company of himself and that of Gelabrith over any other. This not to say that he has a completely antisocial personality because he does have friends, though they are few and far between. He has an intense ability to focus on any task at hand and this proved to be in his benefit during his years in the Fishercraft hall and enabled him, despite a few set backs, to graduate to Jr. Journeyman status.

He has a curiosity that can get out of hand when given something that captures his attention. This is perhaps the number one reason he allowed the greenrider, B'jin to trick him into coming south. For the first turn in Katila, spent on Candidate Isle and moving about the weyr, Tamodrin cursed himself and B'jin's trickery. Tamordrin does not hold B'jin in very high regard. He, in fact, takes pains to avoid the greenrider for fear of his temper exploding. Tamordrin is generally slow to anger and burns on a slow simmer until his inability to let things go creates a fit of anger.

During his childhood, it had become apparent to Tamordrin that he would never become holder to his father's minor estates and as such used his substantial focus and determination to excel and make a name for himself somewhere else. After his first standing, Tamordrin decided that impressing would be his mission in life, such as he could call it. He was determined to impress bronze and only bronze. This determination was rewarded when he impressed Gelabrith. Tamordrin also has a habit of thoroughly thinking things through. This is a new thing for him and is a direct correlation to his impulsive curiosity of B'jin and his dragon.

Gelabrith started life with an interesting hide pattern. His rider was certain that Gelabrith would mature quite fiery in color but had he bet marks, the young man would've come away a loser. As he grew, Gelabrith's molt began to reveal a very dark bronze that would prove lovely to look at.

Adulthood

Gelabrith will mature at a nice even length of 37 feet with a perfectly proportioned body. He will mature muscular and stocky. His hide will complete its molt into a beautiful dark antique bronze, with faint green highlights. He will be colored with the fiery bronze seen at his hatching in variously sized splotches and marks. He will retain a few of the scars received in a tumble with another bronze the day he hatched. They will fade in time but remain throughout his years. Though he has the coloring that could cause people to mistake him for an oversized, very dark green, he will gladly assure anyone who listens that he is indeed a bronze.

Mindvoice

Smooth like whiskey. Gelabrith's mind voice sounds bored and unconcerned most of the time, though this is often not the case.

Personality

Like his rider, Gelabrith has been known for outbursts of anger, as a witness during his hatching. He is a fierce, rough, and tumbled bronze. He has a rather competitive nature and pushes himself to go higher, farther, and all the much faster. This is especially apparent when he learns new things. Like his rider, he contains a fierce determination to be the best of the best in all things he does and has a single-minded focus when confronted with such things. Where T'drin must think things through and come to the best of solutions, Gelabrith has seemed to manifest all of T'drin's past impetuousness and sometimes reacts rashly and without thought for even the smallest of things.

Quirks

Likes:
T'drin - Gelabrith, for the most part, likes his rider, though sometimes T'drin's need to mull over matters annoys him
Firelizards - The little sprites amuse Gelabrith.

Dislikes:
Blues - Not only did a little blue break his shell before he could, but the little bugger had also impressed before him too! Not that Gelabrith can really remember why he dislikes blues so much but a grudge is a grudge.
Dogs - Gelabrith would rather eat the little animals than make friends with them.

Habits/Mannerisms:
Tail flipping - Gelabrith likes to tease the youngster running about the weyr with little tail flips. His tail also twitches when he's angry and can not do anything about it.
Meticulous eater - Gelabrith is a meticulous and tidy eater. After consuming his beast he will spend hours ensuring his hide is clean of any and all traces of ichor or blood.

Strengths:
Determination - Gelabrith is just as determined and focused as his rider. When he sets his mind on something he'll get it done.
Endurance - Gelabrith's endurance could rival any gold. He could fly for hours if he was allowed to.

Weaknesses:
His memory - Gelabrith has a horrendously short memory that more often than not flitters anything away with a couple of days. It will rarely see longer than three days and only when it is something T'drin can not let go.
His size - Though he is about average for the new generation of bronzes, Gelabrith's stockiness makes it difficult for tight ariel maneuvers
