Month 05, 741 AL

North: Late Spring | South: Late Autumn
9.9 C to 18.4 C | 13.7 C to 24.5 C

Ista is heating up swiftly, and preparing for a rough summer - hopefully nothing like the one from a couple turns before with the wildfires! The rest of Northern Pern is warming upsomewhat slower, but with no less gusto as summer begins to creep into the sky, keeping the sun awake longer, warming the ledges of the weyrs. Rainstorms are sporadic, but keep the world well watered, despite the heat of the days.

The Red Star can be seen by those who choose to see it, causing no shortage of whispers that Thread will return - and just as much dismissal from those who do not believe. After all, it's been so long, surely it is no longer a threat! Weyrleaders are, regardless, beginning to put together wings in their Weyrs, if only to keep troublesome and bored riders busy.

Month 12, 740 AL

Fort Boundaries:
Winter -3 - 2 C | 26 - 35 F
Fort is already home to snowfalls, though early in the month they fade away when the sun rises. As the month progresses, more snow stays on the ground, ending up with several feet of snow before the month is over. The areas around homes and populations has the snow shoveled away or trodden down. Icicles attached to Weyr ledges prove some danger and are routinely removed.

Ista Boundaries:
Winter, 9 - 21 C | 48 - 69 F
Generally warm enough to go about without a jacket on, Ista has low humidity but high chance of rain, generally in the form of vicious afternoon thunderstorms. The storms wash away any bite of heat the day had, and leave it feeling fresh for the night. The days are short, but grow bright quickly and the afternoons seem to be particularly short when heavy thunderstorms roll in and cover the sky.

Telgar Boundaries:
Winter, -5 - 0 C | 23 - 32 F
Bitterly cold, with icy winds constantly flowing down from the mountains. Freezing rain is almost constant; the sky always a murky grey and the ground slippery with slushy refrozen ice. The days are extremely short, with the nights dropping a good number below the daily average. Icicles attached to Weyr ledges prove a major danger, and are checked upon every day, with anything bigger than a fist being removed.

Month 07, 740 AL

Fort Boundaries:
Summer 27 - 38 C | 80 - 100 F
Light breezes down from the mountains tot he North keep the temperature comfortable, even when the sun can bake an egg on the edge of a weyr. Sunburn is common.

Ista Boundaries:
Summer, 34 - 43 C | 93 - 110 F
A very dry, dusty heat. Little to no rain, causing more than some to worry about the drought not breaking and the rest of the Isle being at risk of fires. Many seek the depths of weyr, hold or hall during the midday and early afternoon heat.

Telgar Boundaries:
Summer, 26 - 35 C | 79 - 95 F
Muggy, sticky and generally just plain humid. Thunder storms are regular occurances, often happening in the early afternoon or evening, with heavy rainfall before drying off sometime in the night. Mornings are usually crisp, but warm up swiftly.

Month 04, 740 AL
North: Early Spring | South: Early Autumn
−1.9 C to 4.7 C | 20.0 C to 29.0

Spring has sprung, with the snow slowly melting in much of the North, creating mushy grounds and greyish, icy snow piles that are doing their best to melt. In comparison, Ista finds itself naturally warmer, (~10C / 50) and many people who can find rides are making their way to the Island to spend some time in warmth and sunshine, away from the lingering touch of winter.

Katila is beginning to cool down to more reasonable temperature, but is no less muggy and uncomfortable to those who are not used to the seasons. It is still a good place to escape to when seeking a warm day or a nice swim at the lake, though.

Month 12, 739 AL
North: Early Winter| South: Early Summer
-3.1 to 2.1 C | 20.4 C to 29.4 C

Winter has come slowly to the Northern lands of Pern, with more rain and cold winds than snow. As the month progresses, more and more snow will fall, with frequent blizzard-like storms towards the very end of the month. Telgar and Fort will in particular become burried under mountains of snow, while Ista is sunjected to frequent icy rainstorms, and heavy winds coming in from across the ocean.

13.4 to 21.0 C | 13.8 C to 25.6 C

Following the disastrous fires (sometime in around the 28th of Month 08), Ista Isle has found itself suddenly in the midst of constant rain; not enough to flood, but a steady, dreary downfall that seems to only take a time out for a couple of hours here and there, before coming back again. Its cast the entire sooty Isle into a sombre and depressed mood. Alongside the rain, the weather is muggy and while not hot, is not particularly cool, either.

The rest of Northern Pern is getting their usual weather, though they, too, have been called to action following the wildfires that savaged Ista. Many individuals who called Ista Island home have been relocated not just to Ista Weyr, Ista Hold or Sea Cliff Hold, but also to other areas of Pern, whether with family or friends.

Month 08, 739 AL
North: Late Summer | South: Late Winter
17.4 to 25.5 C | 10.8 C to 23.2 C

Ista is still unseasonably warm - 37 to 45 C - has resulted in an incredibly dry summer, with little to no rain. This was climaxed by a dry thunderstorm, the results of which caused three fires to start across the Island on the 24.07.739 in the early morning hours. While the results of this are yet to be played out, the events will no doubt leave more than just the scarring of the land.

Month 07, 739 AL
North: Mid Summer | South: Mid Winter
18.0 to 26.6 C | 10.2 C to 21.9 C

Ista is still unseasonably warm, with average weather being in the 37 to 45 C range, making it now a more than slightly undesirable escape for the rest of the Northern population from the more enjoyable early summer weather. There has been very little in the way of rain, though the coastal areas are no stranger to the salty wind. Ista's limited farmlands and fields are dry and dusty, with golden straw instead of grass where there is any growth at all.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Northern areas are still getting a lot of evening rain and the occasional thunderstorms, which cools down the populus and allows them to sleep easily without sweating their brains out like the Istans.

There has been very little in the way of rain, though the coastal areas are no stranger to the salty wind.

Spring has sprung, with the snow slowly melting in much of the North, creating mushy grounds and greyish, icy snow piles that are doing their best to melt. In comparison, Ista finds itself uncommonly warm (~12C / 53.6) and many people who can find rides are making their way to the Island to spend some time in warmth and sunshine, away from the lingering touch of winter.

Month 11, 738 AL
North: Late Autumn | South: Late Spring

Autumn is coming to an end, with the days slowly becoming shorter still, with early nights and late mornings. The temperature is getting very cool, with jackets being more required, but it has yet to actually snow. Despite this, it is often raining and miserable.

The Southern contient is in full bloom, with flowers coming to life in the grasses and on the trees. The skies are bright blue with fluffy clouds, and occassional sunshowers bringing a dampness to the day. The nights are still crisp, but not cold. The ground is starting to dry up as water is absorbed by the blooming flora.

Month 10, 738 AL
North: Mid Autumn | South: Mid Spring

Autumn is in full tilt, with the leaves a shocking array of orange and red, and more of them on the ground than on the trees. The skies are often a clear and crisp blue, with a cool breeze flowing, shifting the leaves and sending them scattering. Rain is not common, but when it does roll in the skies are dark like night come early, and thunderstorms are not uncommon, though they don't last for long and the amount of rain that falls isn't too heavy.

The ground is starting to dry up as water is absorbed by the blooming flora.

Month 09, 738 AL
North: Start Autumn | South: Start Spring

Nothern regions are entering into Autumn, with the trees beginning to change to their reds and oranges, while the air is beginning to feel more crips. There are still more warm days than cool, and the nights are mostly warm enough for light bedding still. Rain has faded away and most days are clear and bright.

The Southern contient finds itself heading into spring, with rain and flowers vying for attention. The ground is often muddy and squishy, while the skies are either bright and blue, or overcast wtih fluffy clouds.

Month 08, 738 AL
North: End Summer | South: End Winter

Summer is winding to an end in the Northern hemisphere, with the weather slowly cooling and the trees beginning to turn their leaves. The days are still long and bright, but the sun is beginning to lose some of its strength.

The coastal Weyrs are falling victim to coastal storms, strong winds and heavy rains with thunder and lightening.

The more inbound Weyrs and Holds find themselves drier, not getting nearly as much rain or storms, they find themselves on the end of a long drought.

Month 07, 738 AL
North: Mid Summer | South: Mid Winter

Summer is in full spring in the Nothern hemisphere, with the bulk of each day being unbearbly hot, followed by vicious thunderstorms and heavy humidity in the evenings and at night.

The coastal areas are experiencing monsoon like weather, and spend a lot of their time locked away in Hold, Hall or Weyr.

The more inner locations find themselves faced with more dry heat during the day, and horrible humidity in the evening and at night while the thunderstorms rage.

ITS AN UPDATE! HOORAH!

I'm not dead, my loves! This month's Event is 'Close Call!' - have fun! Stamps will be uploaded and on display in our Discord chatroom.

There is a topic here for discussion about Pernese religions and belief systems, including in and out of Weyr opinions (variably and as a whole) in regards to delicate matters, such as birth, death, and the afterlife. Also, ghosts anyone? Now I'm imagining a giant arse dragon ghost....

Healer Hall is accepting Gold Candidates (just from Fort, for now) and R'nya will soon be discussing with his Weyrwoman Rhaedalyn the merits of bringing in additional female candidates.... on the condition they are approved for Healer Apprenticeship...

Thallyath, Casa's little gold dragon, will be taking to the skies for her maiden flight in the first week of April (IC date will be 740-04-01) and while a mate is already decided, this clutch will be PC and more candidates are ALWAYS welcome, whether you want them to Impress this round --- or not!

September 2018

Spring is here! ... In Australia, anyway!

This month’s riveting event is ‘Seas of Fun’, in honour of International Pirate’s Day! After all the drama with the fires, we expect that taking to the sea (or lake, river, pond, etc) would be a very relaxing way to spend some downtime for many dragonriders and Holderfolk alike!

In preparation for October, the even is “Memories of the Past”, which we hope will be a fun way to explore your character’s past, either in solo posts or threads, as inner monolog or as back posting! How you choose to partake is entirely up to you!

October will also see our next PC HATCHING! In order to have your Candidate qualify for Impression, they must have no less than 20 posts! There are lots of characters floating around who would be more than happy to help your Candidate breech that count! Don’t forget to also UPDATE YOUR APPLICATIONS where applicable, or make sure it is submitted at all! We can’t Impress your character if we don’t know what they should be getting!

As always, be sure to submit your threads to the IC RP Timeline submission thread, so they can be added to the list! While you’re at it, remember to submit your favourite quotes – from your character’s or others! – to the Quote Submission Thread! We want to see some recent quotes thrown in with our old ones!

If you haven't already, please drop by the Dragonrider Weyr Allocations thread, and let us know where your dragonriders call home. We are hoping to set up Wings across the three PC Weyrs over the next month or so, and your assistance is much appreciated! As a result, we will be looking for Wingleaders, Wingseconds, and of course Candidates for the clutches we have scheduled for this year!

August 2018

ITS AUGUST! Do you know what that means? It means its less than 4 months until Christmas! OMG.

Okay. So moving on! This month sees us (hopefully) wrapping up the Camp Kink event! Who doesn’t love an abundance of young adults exploring their sexuality without restraint? Its been a hell of a fun ride (haha get it?) so far! Can’t wait to see what the grapevine makes of it when words gets out … haha!

On a more serious note, this month will see us engaging in the Istan Wildfires! This event is a free for all! Feel free to have your characters interact with the event in any way you feel is suitable! There is a lot of room here for personal dramas, trouble making, hero worshiping, etcetera! We really want to see how characters interact with, and dictate, the outcome of the event!

Those of you who are intersted, please take part in a discussion about the Plot for opening up the Healer Hall! You can find it [here].

July 2018

July was July-y.

June 2018

Welcome to the new month! Like always, I'm slack in getting the update up and running, but here it is! This month we have the event 'Summer Fling' - [Link] - which is turning out to be all kinds of entertaining already! Remember, it doesn't have to include smut! It could be an innocent date with some - *gasp* - hand holding!

This month also saw Gold Bedith of Mulrissa take to the skies! She was won by young Syrendryth of T'ryn! Congrats, and may your Hatching be less dramatic than the last one! The Hatching will take place in October so you have a lot of time to get Candidates created, approved, and posting up a storm!

Those of you who are intersted, please take part in a discussion about the Plot for opening up the Healer Hall! You can find it [here].

April 2018

Well, it’s halfway through the month which shows you how awful I am at keeping this stuff up to date, haha. Due to my slackness, there is no event this month, but the month of May will be hosting ’Lost Belongings’ wherein characters should find something they – or someone else – lost.

In the meantime, gold Okalinath of Kahleena has taken to the skies! You can find her Flight thread taking place on the 4th, here Currently, there is no planned winner, so be sure to throw your bronzes and browns her way! They do not need to be natives to Telgar Weyr to participate!

March 2018

Welcome to March, my friends!

Unfortunately, this month we don’t have any events set up, so we encourage you to wrap up threads and create some personal plots! Next month will be bringing in a new monthly event (Lost Belongings!) so you can always set your character up for that! If you have ideas for future Events, you can submit them here!. Additionally, you can see upcoming events here!

Speaking of new threads, be sure to submit your threads to the IC RP Timeline submission thread, so they can be added to the list! While you’re at it, remember to submit your favourite quotes – from your character’s or others! – to the Quote Submission Thread! We want to see some recent quotes thrown in with our old ones!

January 2018

Welcome to the New Year, one and all! We hope you had an enjoyable and safe holiday season, and we can't wait to see what your characters will get up to over the next twelve months (and beyond!). The Secret Santa Event has been extended until the 30th of January, so for those of you (like me!) who were busy over the end of December, we hope you can get your threads up and running over the next few weeks! There has been a lot of interesting interactions so far! As we extended the SSE, there won't be a specific January event this month! Don't worry though, we have something up our sleeve for February!

With the end of December, our Christmas layout has gone back into hiding! You'll be able to use it again at the end of the year, when Christmas again rolls around. You can expect a new layout for the site in the near future.

December 2017

And so it is December! Can’t believe how fast this year is flying by! At any rate, we have LOTS of fun for you this month! For starters, why don’t you sign up for our Secret Santa Event! Pairs will be assigned on the 14th! You can sign your character(s) up as a Giver, a Receiver or Both! We also hope that you enjoy our Christmas layout, which will be available for use for the entire month of December! After that, it will go into hiding until next Christmas!

We will also be awarding the HORRIFYING MOMENTS stamps to those who qualified for them, as well as the WORDS OF THE MONTH for November. We hope you enjoyed these Events, and you can expect more of them in the upcoming year!

This month we will also be focusing on the RP Records, and request you submit all your threads here so we can update the Timeline! As it says in the thread, the Timeline will be updated every month, in the first week. To help us maintain, be sure to submit your threads as soon as you open them!

November 2017

Welcome to November! We'd love it if you would take the time to Vote in our Horrifying Moments threads! We will also be awarding Stamps for people who vote, not just those who took part! We hope you enjoyed this event as much as we did! You can see the Stamps that will be awarded in the Horrifying Moment's thread.

This month we are doing a 'Words of the Month' event! You can choose your word/s as indicated in the thread, and may particpate with as many characters as you desire! This contest has no voting to earn stamps; you get a stamp just for participating! Enjoy!

October 2017

Welcome to October! As part of our Halloween celebrations, the Horrifying Moments event is now open! You may START a thread at any point during the month of October to qualify it for the event! We hope you have a lot of fun with this event, and we look forward to reading your threads! Don't forget to "Like" the threads you enjoy most, so we can award someone the MOST HORRIFYING stamp! Stamps will be revealed later in the month!

September 2017

Welcome to September! This month, we're working on our Awards for the site! We are also advertising avidly! Please welcome any guests or new members with all that warm charm we know you all posess! That said, we are still seeking Affiliates, so if you're here to drop an ad, please consider us!

Our next PC Clutch will be in the new year, so now is the pefect time to join with old candidates (how many clutches have they stood for now?!) and candidate hopefuls! Get those eager young men and women out there and grow them so we can match them with their perfect lifemate when the new year rolls around and one of our lovely golds throws a clutch on the Sands -- At this point in time, the Weyrs are sharing Candidates, so your Candidate can be Searched by any Weyr, and transfer to the one holding the PC clutch!

August 2017

We are officially open for our relaunch, and are excited to meet and greet new RPers! We're currently looking for all types of characters, including Weyrleaders and goldriders! But we also have lots of room for green and blueriders, weyrfolk, candidates, and all types of Hall folk, such as Masters, Journeymen and Apprentices. If you have any questions, feel free to hit us up in the Cbox or Discord chats, which can be found on the lower part of the screen.

July 2017

We are currently having an event to Create Adoptables! And encourage everyone to take part!

History is almost complete, and the profile has been re-coded. All new characters will need to go onto the new profile, but all old can keep their current! We'll begin advertising properly over the next couple of weeks, once the history has been completed, and probably after the weekend of the 8th and 9th, because that is when ThistleProse is having her birthday.

June 2017

We are on the brink of relaunching! Our history is being rewritten and cleaned up! We are accepting new members, and old! Our advertisment has been re-written, and will be put out there soon. We are also accepting affiliates of all descriptions, genres and themes! If you would like to affiliate with us, please go here
We officially have two layouts! You can post here with any issues you find, or request any changes!

May 2017

Progress has slowed down a little, due to RL events (yay promotions! Boo no internet!) but we're getting back on track! Documents are still being written and we've put together a FAQs page, though its likely to recieve a lot of adjustments as we come across things. The current goal is to have everything set up and ready by July, but we'll see how well we go at that. And by we, I mean ThistleProse. lol.

April 2017

The layout is almost complete, but there is still a lot of work to be done; documents are being written up and can be found in the Site Map menu opion. Players can begin to move their characters' information to their Account Profiles, but be aware some changes may still be made and/or added.
If you find any bugs or issues, plese repot them here, and we will do our best to fix them in a timely manner.

Erisi
he's a harper
he doesn't need this ):<

First Name: Erisi
Pronounced: Air-ee-see
Nicknames: Eri
Main Rank: Jr. Journeyman; Harper
Other Rank: N/A
Place of Birth: Fort Hold
Age/Date of Birth: 28.08.211
Weyrmate: N/A
Threadfall Theory: He doesn't think Thread is coming, and thinks all these sharding dragonriders are dimglows for believing it will come back. He may voice his displeasure about this more than once, or well, many times.
Time Stolen: 30.10.230 AL, by NPC
Kidnapping Response: Positive/Neutral/Negative
Approved Special Features: N/A
Face Claim: N/A

Looks
maybe it's magic
maybe it's maybelline

Eyes: Erisi has slightly narrowed and sharp eyes, the sort of eyes that always seem to look mildly displeased. Thick, dark eyelashes seem to little to buffer the hard quality of his eyes. Perhaps if they were a warmer color even, such as honey brown, but alas they are a light blue.
Hair: He has thick and wavy hair, the sort of hair that'd make the back of one's neck sweat even on a temperate day. Erisi would be better off chopping a good portion of it off, but for vanity's sake he will not allow it. Instead it is pulled back in a loose ponytail and falls just below his shoulders, which hardly does a thing to help him from getting overheated. His hair is dark brown, so much so that it appears black until the sun hits the surface of his irritable head.
Height: 5"9.
General Appearance: Erisi is a slender young man, in such a way that he doesn't look like he'd be any good at physical labor. He'd probably turn his nose up at the mere suggestion of him having to work. Up in the Northern Continent, his skin was pale, but after coming South and being burned to a crisp on multiple occasions his complexion has darken. There is a sprinkle of freckles upon his cheeks, and a scant few upon his arms where the had been none before his... forced trip South. His face is more sharp than soft, and little could he do to soften it even if he tried. Brows are thin, and seem to be constantly pulled down in irritation. It has yet become clear to the people he knows whether his brows are naturally shaped that way or if he just keeps that expression on his face constantly. His upper lip is slightly thicker than his bottom lip, though neither are all that full to begin with. The sharpness of his features seem to be concentrated to his eyes and brows, and perhaps without them he'd have at least looked friendly, for his chin is smooth and his nose a gentle, easy slope. It really does seem that if you just plucked out his eyes and gave him warmer ones, he'd look happy. Oh, and perhaps if you'd remove the creases at the corners of his lips from frowning so much.
Dressing Style: Erisi has to look nice, because for Faranth's sake, vanity demands he looks nice even when the occasion does not require it. If he has to clean up, he'll still wear his nice leggings and boots. The only other constant in his appearance other thank looking nice is that he always wears a sash around his waist. Why, you ask? Because he can.

Personality
the sweetest person you'll know

General Character Traits: Erisi can be one of the most unlikeable people someone can come across, or at least seems to be at first glance. He has a nasty habit of judging people after a first glance over, and entirely dismissing them if he believes he'll find them irritating. He'll shoo them away with a subtle insult on an icy voice, and if that does not work, walk away himself. Most people fail to impress him, but the few that could be pleasantly surprised to discover that he isn't entirely mean. Beyond his usually frosty demeanor, though, there is someone that does enjoy pleasant companionship. He can be entirely sociable with people he likes, and tends to carry on with a playfully sarcastic demeanor throughout conversations with his friends. The only problem is that getting to see him in such an easy-going demeanor is difficult if one did not pass his first judgement. He is firm in his ways, and if says he doesn't like you once, he probably is never going to like that person. Trying to change his mind is wasting his time, and will likely make an already irritable young man even more irritable.
Likes:
    Like 1: Clothes. He is probably worse than any woman in the entire Weyr and surrounding area. But, if he has to value something, it would be his looks, and good clothes are a necessity to achieving an appearance he can be satisfied with. Whatever coin he has usually ends up going to these silly clothing purchases.
    Like 2: Wine. It is one of the few things that can get him to warm up. Some would fear that it would make him only more irritable and abrasive, but wine does wonders for his personality. He even learns how to laugh in the duration that he is tipsy or drunk.
    Like 3: Sweetrolls. It's a wonder he isn't obese, with all the lazing about he does and all the sweets that unmistakably find a way into his stomach. He is personally thankful that he can enjoy sweets and not have to worry about getting as fat as a dragon.
Dislikes:
    Dislike 1: Children. He can't stand them, and has not been able to build up the tolerance and endurance to deal with them for any length of time. Erisi will avoid them at all costs, or at the very least try and pawn them off to someone else.
    Dislike 2: Manual Labor. No, he would not like to work outside, he has things he can do inside his hut that require less effort and less burning underneath the suns. Perhaps this is why he is happy to be a Harper - there is not much work. Singing and teaching can be done without a sweat, for the most part.
    Dislike 3: Searchriders. He is pretty sure that he can't even stand to look at one without giving an involuntary twitch of displeasure. Being Searched was not an entirely happy occasion for the young man, and it is quite unlikely that he will enjoy being in the presence of any Searchrider ever again.
Habits/Mannerisms: Erisi tries to be one of the cleanest, or at least sharpest looking people will ever come across. He may have a nasty attitude, but at least he still looks nice! He also has the uncanny ability to talk as if he's insulting someone, while never outright insulting them. There is a subtlety in his voice that he has mastered that aids him in belittling anyone that dares to annoy him.
Strengths: He is an independent and dominant personality, which means he hardly allows for himself to be pushed around. He'll stand up for himself if he has to, though he usually prefers talking his way through situations than getting into a physical scuffle.
What he lacks in physical strength, he makes up for intelligence, which was why he was apprenticed as a Harper to begin with, despite having one of the most disagreeable personalities for the craft out there. Then again, it may not have been his intellect at all, but rather his talent with music. But, it's safe to bet on his intelligence in this matter. He is not the sort of person that can easily be fooled, and naturally questions others opinions when they have nothing to back said opinions up. It can make him a center for debate, which he does not particularly mind so long as it remains as a debate.
Erisi may be judgmental, but most of the time his estimations of people are correct. He can tell who isn't worth much, and who is; someone who is sly, and who is dimmer than a wherry. This has made him equally good at perceiving whether someone is telling him the truth or trying to pull a fast one over his head. It is an ability he quite prides himself in.
Weaknesses: Being so quick to judge other people, he hardly gives himself a chance to make genuine friends. He has a desire to be social, but the desire is not so strong that it will overcome his predisposition to hate almost anything and anyone.
Physically, he is not the strongest guy around, and while it does not particularly phase him... with the rate he gets into arguments he needs a little strength to back up his words.
The one reason he is in desperate need of physical strength is because he has a nasty temper. When his buttons are pushed, man, are they pushed. He doesn't bother to hide his irritation, and will quickly snap at someone who is on his nerves. More often than not, he is the one creating the tight situations that he then has to try and squeeze out of.

Personal History

a word of advice
say no to children

Mother: Misani, 48
    Rank: Sr. Journeyman Weaver. After her first few children they became her focus more than her craft.
Father: Famnar, 50
    Rank: Master Vinter
Siblings: A lot. Erisi is of the firm belief that his mother has spent the entirety of her life popping out one child after another.
Past Lovers/Partners: Not any he'd make a particular note on. Plenty of flings, but very few can seem to get past his nasty personality and initiate an actual spark in the relationship.
Current Lovers/Partners: None.
Children: None, thank Faranth!
Background Story:
Mid Winter 211 AL - Born the 4th son in a family of already six children.
Late Fall 221 AL - Apprenticed at Harper Hall, showed promise despite displaying a spoiled personality.
Mid Spring 224 AL - One of his old friends returned North after trying to explore the Southern Continent with a group of people. Erisi belittled him for being stupid enough to think that dragons were still alive to even need to go look down there.
Early Spring 230 AL - Searched, much to his displeasure. Displays a stubborn resistance to adapting to his new life, and likely delights in being a proper thorn in everyone's side.

Crafter Education
he's smarter than you, you jelly?

Craft: Harper
Craft Rank: Jr. Journeyman
Years In Craft: 10 Turns
Crafting Details: Erisi is, unsurprisingly, far better at entertaining than he is teaching. He lacks the patience required to deal with interruptions in his lessons and endlessly dimglowed questions. While he can muscle through it, he tends to adapt a sarcastic demeanor when his patience meter has run out. He makes up for this failure by being fairly adept at singing and playing any intrustment in his time. He can't pick fun at anyone if his mouth is too busy singing to fling insults about!

RP Example
don't drink and fly

As a new Jr. Journeyman, Erisi decided to focus his talents on music and entertainment over passing on his knowledge. He made a favorable amount of marks this way, and it had a sort of immediate gratification that pleased the young man. He would rather sit in the center of a tavern than sit in front of a bunch of huge eyed little brats. Besides, he was better at this, and people seemed to enjoy his skills enough. If he was being praised, well, he wasn't going to do much to make it end anytime soon. Night had just settled over Fort Hold, and since it was nearing the end of another sevenday he was nearly guaranteed to make a decent profit.

So, he immersed himself in an environment he was familiar and comfortable with. He needed this, some time to simply play music and enjoy the company of people without truly having to invest himself in them. Earlier he had visited home, caught up with his family, and promptly got out of there before he could be coerced into playing with his younger siblings. He loved his family, sure, but they still gave him a migraine that only music and drink could cure. The tavern felt more like home than his parents' home, anyways. His family was well off, and had to be to take care of all the brats they churned out. His father had great wine too, but nothing beat this place for Erisi.

The night was growing darker, and after a few glasses of bad wine, Erisi was feeling better. His playing, unfortunately, took a dive for it, and he had stopped singing so that his throat could be soothed by the taste of more horrible wine. Someone in the tavern didn't appreciate it, and Erisi shot them a quick and harsh glance, ready to rise to his own defense when someone else did. At that moment, he couldn't help but think that there was at least one decent person occupying the same space as him. The man was older than Erisi, with a graying beard and tired eyes. With age came experience, and Erisi assumed that the man just knew good music when he heard it.

His usual skills of perception were sharding poor when he was drunk.  Erisi put down his guitar with a little more drunken care than he really needed to as the unfamiliar man came to talk to him. He could certainly take a break from playing his instrument if he wanted to, no matter if other people complained. Erisi was in an unusually social mood, and tipsy, wasn't  nearly as mean as he was known to be. At first they talked about small, unimportant things, things to amuse one another as they shared a few drinks. After a few drinks, Erisi couldn't remember what they were talking about, or why he was leaving the tavern without his guitar. He couldn't walk straight, so the elder man was kind enough to help him walk back to his home.

The last thing he did remember thinking was that it was awfully nice of this man to go out of his way for him, and then he remembered nothing at all.

When he snapped back into consciousness he was on a miserably sunny island with a migraine intense enough to kill off the entire population of dragons, since somehow they weren't dead after that vicious plague. Someone was trying to explain to him what was going on, but Erisi wasn't listening much, and arguing far more. The dragonrider that had kidnapped him had been lucky enough that Erisi was tipsy enough to not bother with being a nasty young man with the meanest temper. The poor fool trying to explain things to him now had to deal with the full brunt of what Erisi was.

He was confused, pissed, and doubly pissed because he had been fooled into following some stupid nice guy to a sharding island where he couldn't escape the sharding sun and the strained expression on this sharding dragonrider's face. That day, shards became his favorite word.

Erisi was eventually let off the island, though he hadn't really adjusted. He got tired enough of roasting to death underneath the sunshine to pretend that he was cool with things. It was his natural disposition to be more stubborn than a wherry, so perhaps they just took pity on him after a few extra days on the island.

[color=#8A7324]Appearance:

    Mature Length: 23'3 feet
    [color=#8A7324]Mature Height:
11'7 feet
    [color=#8A7324]Mature Wingspan:
35 feet
    [color=#8A7324]Scars & Markings:
The cracked markings on her legs are often confused for cracks in her hide, and the sickly purple colour across her belly/flank makes her seem underfed.
    [color=#8A7324]INITIALLY:
None.
    [color=#8A7324]WEYRLINGHOOD:
Charath's hide is beginning to change colour, much like those of her brothers and sisters. It primarily starts to change around her belly and chest area, revealing a sickly purple-green colour. It gives her a very ill appearance.
As the hatchling-green colour begins to change in other areas, one can see that her hide is a pleasant pale green, one reminiscent of spring. There seem to be some brown marks on her legs and wing bones.
    [color=#8A7324]MATURITY:
With all her hatchling-green finally gone, Charath has some very interesting markings on her body. With a base of a gentle lime green that extends across her body, the markings are predominantly purple and brown in hue. The initial purply-green mark extends up onto the back of her hips, and on very close inspection has faint lines throughout it as if someone has dragged their finger along it and wiped the purple away to reveal her lime base. The copper brown lines on her legs are revealed now to be shaped like cracks in a rock. Thicker around her feet, they taper off around her knees.
At a glance it appears as if her tail is in fact scaled, opposed to being the smooth hide like all dragons. This is an illusion however, created by a very pale brown shadowing effect that makes a scale pattern down her entire tail. The lime base of her hide fades into a more yellow-based shade up on her wing bones, which is complimented by lovely brown markings that are both stripes and gentle waves.
    [color=#8A7324]General Appearance:
Charath is not quite a stunning dragon, though her markings give her quite an interesting appearance. In particular, the faint purple shade across her stomach seems to accentuate how slim she is. Tall and thin, she can appear quite pot-bellied when she eats a large meal, giving her a rather ungainly appearance when in flight. When she keeps to her usual slim self, she can be quite beautiful in flight. With everything about her appearing long and delicate, she flies particularly well, most likely the best of her Green clutchmates. Even the smaller details about her are dainty, with a delicately put together head, wings and feet, she is a very fine and smooth dragon.

[color=#8A7324]Mind Voice:
In vast contrast to her slim and delicate body, Charath's voice is almost like acid in comparison. Dark and raspy, it almost sounds like it could have come from an alien. It penetrates your mind and slithers around, much like a terran snake. Charath will only talk to those few that she initially meets and that keep her loyalty, she will never approach or talk with anyone beyond those few. Pranks and outwitting aside, of course.

[color=#8A7324]Personality:

    Likes: The only thing Charath likes to do is to use her great intelligence to cause others misfortune her herself a good laugh. While her intelligence does not quite rival her clutch sister Krypth's, it is still quite large. Where Krypth will use her intelligence to garner more knowledge or to lead the Weyr, Charath uses her own to learn about other dragons and humans. She uses this knowledge to outwit them and to pull pranks upon them. In short, she's a very clever troll.
    [color=#8A7324]Dislikes:
Charath has a peculiar dislike for the vast majority of the Weyr. It appears to be the first few people she interacted with early on in her life are the only ones she can tolerate, or deems worthy of tolerating. The rest tend to fade into a fuzzy background for her. Her greatest dislikes are almost the same, but she persists that each is terrible in its own way. With her intelligence, Charath prides herself on being right about everything she says, so when she is proven wrong she quite often will simply ignore the speaker. She takes it quite harshly and will strive to correct herself whilst being extra sure about her facts the next time. On the flip side, if she is outwitted at something, she will make it her goal to exact revenge on the poor soul who did such a thing. No doubt it won't take long for the Weyr to let her have her cake and eat it.
    [color=#8A7324]Habits/Mannerisms:
Charath has two stand out habits that appear to have formed as soon as she was out of her shell. One is to sit and stare at a person completely immobile and silent until they're uncomfortable, while the other is to breath heavily on people then pretend it was the wind, even if they are inside a closed building.
    [color=#8A7324]Strengths:
Noticeable even when she was in her egg during the touchings, Charath has displayed a highly selective loyalty. After hatching, it has become known that this loyalty knows no bounds; she will defend and protect her initial friends to no end. Along with Krypth, she is one of the most intelligent dragons to be hatched, though she uses her intelligence less for the benefit of the Weyr like Krypth and more for her own trickster enjoyment. Charath is also very confident in everything she does, even when attempting something new she will barrel into it with her head held high.
    [color=#8A7324]Weaknesses:
Despite her intelligence, Charath doesn't quite have a grasp on diplomacy and is very brutal in how she treats people. Quick and harsh to judge, she is quite strong in personality, often shocking those she interacts with. Her judgmental streak folds into her opinions, be they many and each as strong as the last. Even if her opinion ends up wrong, she will stick with it to the end because it is hers. Despite her desire to constantly trick and outwit people, she is very self-absorbed. She will constantly be demanding that Erisi make her look her best and that he doesn't put a toe out of line without her permission, everything must go smoothly and her reputation is at stake here! To cap it all off, she can be quite the sour pot, especially if something goes wrong.
    [color=#8A7324]General Personality:
At a glance, one might pass Charath off as just another Green, but if she hears even the slightest whisper of this, she will hunt you down just to prove you wrong. Even as a newly hatched dragon, she has a clear idea at all times of what she wants to do and she will never let anybody persuade her otherwise. No, she will not chew and eat slower, she needs to get her stomach full of food as soon as possible so that she may grow big and strong, just like the Bronzes and Golds. This strong stubborn and self-obsessive streak will take time to come to grips with, but Erisi is her chosen life mate, he is clearly equipped with the tools to handle her, right?

The fact that Charath chose Erisi to begin with is a high honour, as she will constantly be reminding him. After all, she felt other, more impressive people touching her shell long before he came along. Despite this she is ever loyal to him, though Valerian may give him a run for his money on occasion, as he was a much better choice but alas, she knew that he could never truly be hers. This constant lamenting will drive Erisi insane for the first few months, but over time she will forget, becoming more and more enamoured with her own rider instead of Veeth's.

When she does eventually give up on Valerian (or does she?), her sly and cunning side will begin to emerge. Charath will be going through every trick and prank in the book, and then adding on dozens of her own when she becomes bored with using other people's ideas. Her intelligence will begin to peek, though clearly in the opposite direction of Krypth's, as she watches people and dragons, picking up facts to stow away for a later date for when she will trick them. Each move she takes is calculated, for she hasn't, and most likely never will, lose her self-absorbed state of mind and must keep up appearances and her reputation at all times.

As she matures and comes ever closer to her maiden flight, she will spend more time flirting with males, although it doesn't quite sound right. Her words are dark in nature, almost as if she's insulting whom she is talking to, with a sly wink and a scoff. No doubt urged on by Erisi's own sexual prowess, she will claim to be the best Green within Katila, no, the best female in all of Pern. Being the 'best', Charath will demand to be pandered to; her male suitors should be waiting on her claw and foot, not just her rider. Even with her almost cruel flirts, she will manage to wrap at least some of the males around her claw and they will admire her every move, including her pranks and tricks.
