Eyes: gray, and very frank. He doesn’t see the point in being deceptive unless there really is a good reason for it (there usually isn’t, for him)
Hair: chin-length blonde hair, tends to be a bit unruly. He’s never quite mastered the art of keeping it under control.
Height: 5’10
General Appearance: T'rielle posessed something of a mediocre build; he's not overtly buff, but he posesses the mass necessary to be capable of managing a dragon, however minimal the required effort is. He manages to appear well put together despite spending most of his adolescence looking a lot like an overgrown puppy. The least that can be said for him is that he grew into himself well. He's a fast mover, which partly stems from his inability to stand still. He tends to move suddenly, constantly forgetting to give warning when he does so, and not particularly concerned aboout handing out apologies when such things happen.
He has a square chin, with a very subtle cleft to it. He's an easy smiler, though that tends to be his way of hiding his true emotions when he doesn't want to give himself away (despite the fact that Caxith has a tendency to broadast both their emotions well enough for the both of them). He has a number of small scars--more like blemishes--on his arms from being the adventurous and over-curious child that he was, as well as a long raised claw mark down one arm from a wayward green dragon's claw at Caxith's hatching.
Dressing Style: For the most part, T'rielle makes himself presentable, at the very least. He does have a certain unruly raggedness to him that stems from the fact that he tends to leave his tunic half-untucked, or his pants sticking out of one boot, things like that. The devil's in the details, really. His wardrobe is actually in fairly good shape, despite how rough T'rielle can be on it. If he can manage it, he'll do his best to keep his hair out of his face, whether by a strip of leather or by tying it up into a (very) short ponytail dependent on availability.
you're barely waking
Likes:
Mischief: T’rielle was one of those Weyrbrats who had a bad habit of ending up places he shouldn’t.
Quiet: One of the rare times when T'rielle can well and truly relax is when it's genuinely quiet. Even he doesn't quite understand why.
Food: Possibly obvious, but T'rielle's metabolism means that he's not exactly a picky eater. There isn't much he won't eat (Caxith convinced him to eat raw wherry once--never again, that).
Dislikes:
Sitting still: Restless to the nth degree, T’rielle has issues with sitting still
Time-consuming activities: Anything that exceeds his attention span is something that T'rielle doesn't particularly enjoy. One rare exception is oiling Caxith's hide.
Tunnelsnakes: T'rielle has a compeltely irrational fear of tunnelsnakes; his reaction rivals that of the typical woman-jumping-on-a-table-at-a-mouse. He acts terribly dignified afterwards, probably because people have no qualms about mocking him over it.
Habits/Mannerisms: T’rielle bites his lip when he’s thinking. He also has a bad habit of chewing on his fingernails when he’s nervous or bored. He's always doing something, though, whether it's actual movement or simply jittering a leg.
Strengths: Despite his ADD, T'rielle is surprisingly observant. His constant movement means that his eyes and his mind are always moving, and while he may not take particular note of small details, he has a tendency to recall them at the oddest of times. Many people might view his optimism as a weakness, but he sees it as the glass-half-full type of thing; no matter how bad things are, they could always be worse, and they have to do that before they can get better. T'rielle is also fairly adjustable. He's not prone to sticking to a routine, which makes him fairly unpredictable. His adaptability is an advantage as far as Caxith is concerned because it keeps the hot-headed green from getting too bored.
Flaws: First and foremost, it should probably be mentioned that T'rielle has a particularly short temper. He tends to feed off his dragon and vice versa, and his subtlety is lacking enough that it's not hard to spot; neither him or Caxith go to any effort to hide it (though get ready for an ass-chewing if you dare to bring it up, because he does not get sharding proddy). His restlessness is another issue, and one that tends to irritate more than one individual. He just can't stay still, even in sleep. Unfortunately, sometimes he just can't keep his mouth shut. His mind-mouth filter is sadly lacking, and while it usually doesn't get him in a huge amount of trouble--Caxith tends to be the devious one in this partnership so T'rielle doesn't exactly have much to hide--but when he does get a case of the word vomits, it tends to be pretty spectacular.
General Character Traits: If a person were to attempt to give a one-word description of T’rielle’s personality, they’d probably start off by pointing out that he should never be permitted near the easily influenced weyrbrats or the emotionally-compromised weyrlings. Of course, that never stopped him from making himself comfortable in the Lower Caverns with the other youngsters, mostly to tell exaggerated tales of his own ‘adventures’ or other embellished tales of woe and valor.
With the younger children he’s generally a very happy-go-lucky type of person, and is very careful to maintain that image around them—he likes their attention and the vaguely worshipping way they interact with him. With those who are closer in age and older than him, though, he’s a tad more rebellious. He has a bad habit of taking criticism more personally than is strictly necessary, which generally leads to him throwing a punch or two before he chills out enough to be reasonable. Despite having not grown up in a particularly family-oriented environment, T’rielle is incredibly close to his siblings.
and i'm tangled up in you
Mother: Earielle, 192 AL
Rank: Weyrfolk; worked in the kitchens
Father: Z’tani, 182 AL
Rank: Wingrider; of brown Sath
Siblings:
Ritani: born 209 AL
Zaielle: born 214 AL, sickly
Past Lovers/Partners: Kiva, his first and the mother of his kid
Current Lovers/Partners: n/a
Children: One son, though he honestly hasn’t had much to do with him. He's roughly 3 Turns now.
Background Story:
209 AL: Elder sister Ritani born
211 AL; 0: Tanearielle born. The birth is hard on Earielle, but she manages well enough with the help of the Masterhealer. The babe is born healthy, if a little small.
214; 3: Zaielle born. Earielle has a much harder time with him, and is instructed to avoid further pregnancy. Zai has a chronic cough and some troubled breathing, though it doesn't seem to slow him down much.
216; 5: Exiled to the south with his father and siblings, though Earielle has become too ill to make the voyage herself. She passes later in the Turn.
217-219; 6-8: Nobody had expected the boys, Zaielle in particular, to manage well in the harsh conditions in the first Turns in the south. Once groups began to form, however, and some semblance of safety was established, Zai's cough began to improve. He's never going to be completely healthy, but at least he was able to nearly keep up with his brother and sister.
220; 9: Z’tani dies
221; 10: The siblings don't have an in to the dragonriders without their father, so they don't have the "whole story" regarding the order from Nirinath to stay hidden in the south. they simply do as they're told. Ritani is terrified for Zaielle's sake when the Firehead breaks out, though he manages to avoid infection.
222; 11: Tan, being the curious little beast he is, finds out about the conspiracy to return to the north, though he doesn't do or say anything about it. People wouldn't have believed him even if he had.
226; 15: The sick brownrider is common knowledge, though Tanearielle and his siblings don't put a whole lot of effort into worrying about it. Ritani says he'll die or he'll live; there's not much anyone can do about it. Tan is inclined to agree.
227; 16: Tanearielle Impresses green Caxith
mid 229; 18: Caxith Flies for the first time.
Late 229; 18 Tanearielle and Caxith graduate Weyrlinghood, Tan acquires honorific T’rielle
230-231; 19-20: General chaos and mayhen, Tan & Caxith style. The freedom is vaguely overwhelming, after Weyrlinghood, and T'rielle goes a bit nuts about it.
231; 21: T'rielle is privately appalled at B'jin's lashing, though he's smart enough to keep his mouth shut--or Caxith is smart enough to shut it for him, to be more accurate.
232; 22: D'ren's poisoning is worrying, to say the least. He had no issues with the man as Weyrleader, and the Jury of T'rielle is still out regarding his opinion on S'kef stepping in. Caxith doesn't care as long as T'rielle doesn't do anything remarkably idiotic.
even the best fall down sometimes
Craft: General Education
Education Details Being a particularly flightly individual, Tan found it hard to focus on much of anything as far as schooling. He managed well enough, and he knows the basics, but it took longer, not to mention a lot of prodding from his siblings and teachers.

Anything else? Nope!
even the wrong words seem to rhyme
Caxith thought she was really quite tolerant of T’rielle’s habit of running around like a lunatic. It wasn’t like she had to go with him everywhere he went, but that didn’t stop her from complaining even when she was simply sitting in one place. Nice enough of her to let him continue, she thought, and not make him stop outright. She would not mention that one time she’d ended up pinning him down with a foot because he wouldn’t shut up about some activity or other and she was just trying to sleep you sharding ninny, so shut up and I’ll let you up. It tended not to work particularly well, mostly because T’rielle knew better than to think that she’d actually do anything. He would be wrong, though, because Caxith hadn’t let him up until he’d been quiet for a solid five minutes (which just about killed the talkative greenrider, let me tell you).
T'rielle, for his part, had learned quickly enough where the green's boundaries were, and he was remarkably good at skimming that line without crossing. It certainly didn't hurt that the green had no qualms about pointing out when T'rielle was being dense, and the young man had learned very quickly to take it into consideration, at the very least; as long as he paused for a second, thought about himself, then Caxith wouldn't get too snarky at him, even if he didn't really take her advice.
Despite the potentially (and occasionally not) clashing personalities, the two of them really were capable of getting their acts together when they needed to. Caxith never had to ask T’rielle to come with her down to the river so she could take a swim, and she never needed to be told that he couldn’t stop moving, that he just needed to do it and to deal with it on the rare occasions when the rider just needed to get his mind recalibrated. This specific occasion was one that ended with T’rielle sprawled on the riverside and Caxith wallowing in the river, doing her best to surreptitiously drench her rider when he was least expecting it. ”You’re a terrible beast and I hate you.” She was not above pulling him straight into the river either, he knew (she’d done it more than once, and he just about drowned every time--swimming was not one of his strong points).
He heard a rumble, and saw bubbles erupt from the surface of the river where he could see the green’s head submerged. He could see her eyes looming up at him through the water, and a moment later she erupted onto the riverline beside him, not quite managing to keep T’rielle dry. He sighed, but nevertheless moved to her side and gave the green an affectionate pat and scratch along the ridges at the base of her skull.

Name: Caxith
Pronounced: Kax-Ith
Colour: Green
Wing Rank: Wingrider
Place of Birth: Katila Weyr
Date of Birth: 28.08.227
Clutch Name: Renewed Hope
Clutch Mother: Gold Nirinath
Clutch Father: Bronze Ronarth
Key Word: Desire
Egg Name:
Egg Description: a darker cream
Measurements:
Mature Length: 22.4 feet
Mature Height: 11.2 feet
Mature Wingspan: 35.5 feet
Scars & Markings: The typical scars that come from a particularly aggressive green caught up in the moment of a Flight. She does have a couple that stand out; a long ropy thing down the left side of her neck, a couple inches from her ridges (that one gets particularly itchy and T’rielle is very good about indulging her insistent begging to ‘give it a scratch, go on, there’s a lad’), and another down her left hip and thigh, both from the same Flight and dragon.
General Appearance:
Weyrlinghood: Caxith’s weyrling hide was much less...impressive than her mature one. Still a dark green, it lacked the lighter embellishments, as well as the bi-colored wingsails. She still thought she was hot stuff, and T’rielle was smart enough to just go along with her and agree.
Adulthood: Body is dark green, while the undersails of her wings, the spade on the ends of her tail, and the ridges down her neck/back are a lighter, slightly flourescent green. Her jaw/throat is a much lighter, less saturated green, which is also very faintly “sprinkled” over the rest of her body.
Mind Voice: A touch sultry, to be honest; she’s very expressive, and generally knows what buttons to push (with T’rielle in particular) to get what she wants.
Personality:
Likes:
Water; More than anything, Caxith enjoys the act of catching fish. But that’s far from the only reason she likes water; swimming is one of the things that she can truly enjoy doing (or so she says; T’rielle is convinced that she’s just dramatic).
Speed; In action or in conversation, Caxith likes nothing more than things that move quickly. It’s not that her attention span is that short, really, but more that she’s just always ready to move on and doesn’t appreciate when people slow that down for her.
Hunting; The thrill is simple, but enough to get Caxith’s blood pumping, and a good hunt always puts her in a good mood for days afterwards. Practically being hand-fed wherries and herdbeasts just doesn’t count.
Dislikes:
Stupid people; She just doesn’t have the patience, even if she’s not the one dealing with them.
Rain; Despite her love of water, rain just gets on her nerves. It’s never around when you want it, and always there when you really don’t need it. It’s annoying.
Thunder; Much like rain, Caxith doesn’t quite know why she hates the sound of thunder, and she doesn’t have the patience to just sit down and figure it out.
Habits/Mannerisms: She finds some amusement in making T’rielle get indignant or defensive, though they both know that it’s all in good fun; T’rielle is usually quick to forgive.
Strengths: Caxith is, if possible, more blunt than T’rielle is. It’s not for a lack of a filter, but due to the simple fact that she just doesn’t care about other people’s opinions. It even took T’rielle a while to figure her out, and he has a VIP ticket inside her head. For the most part she’ll only use this particular aspect of her personality when coming to T’rielle’s defence. The green dragon’s gears are always turning. Just as much as her rider, she’s calculating. Watching and putting the puzzle pieces together are some of her favorite past-times. Despite Caxith’s prickly outer shell, she is fiercely loyal. One has to prove themselves worthy, of course, but she’s got a bit of an inflated ego when it comes to making sure said individuals know just how protected they are. I mean, what lunatic would come anywhere near an angry green, right? Right?!
Weaknesses: Caxith could easily be considered temperamental. Her lack of patience plays a large part in that as well; being a green with an inflated sense of importance means that she has a lot to fight for, particularly when her rider isn’t particularly interested in climbing the social ladder himself. Her temper is short, and it burns quickly. She doesn’t like sitting around and waiting for things to happen, and there isn’t much to be done to stop her when she sets her mind on something. She’s a bit of a smart-ass when she wants to be, which is most of the time, and despite the way she appears to treat T’rielle, she really does have an irrational need to protect him, despite the fact that it’s generally unnecessary.
General Personality: If nothing else, Caxith can bring the best and the worst out of her rider. Where T'rielle may falter (more often than not, sexually or politically), she is more than willing to jump in to give some (very unwanted) advice, with or without sarcastic remarks. She is very blunt, and not afraid to point flaws out when she feels that people need to know them. Her ego might be a tiny bit inflated, but nobody ever said she was perfect. In fact, far from it. She has no problem with expressing her feelings, whether they be about living things or some inanimate object that she deems worthy of her attention.
Because of this lack of discretion, she tends to come off as a bit raw; feral, even, if she's pushed far enough. She's an ambitious girl, that's for sure, and her desire for power stretches from being the relative dominant member of the dragon-rider pair to world domination (I'm kidding. Maybe). Either way, though, she's not afraid to go to great lengths to get what she wants, and T'rielle for one has learned to take it in stride and just do what she says as long as it doesn't completely demolish his own slightly twisted morals.
