B’jin had wanted to test A’liran’s theory with his next flight, and had even kept a careful track of the progress Larrikith was making towards when she would take to the skies next. The day had come, and B’jin had eyed her suspiciously as she had slept in the sunshine at midday on the day she should have flown – he’d even arranged to have the day free! So, naturally, Larrikith hadn’t even twitched and there had been not so much as a glittering dot of Proddy flush to her hide. B’jin, swallowing his pride had even marched right up to R’nd and whispered an irritable ‘am I proddy?!’ and then become even more irritable at R’nd’s confusion until he stalked off with a grumble of disgust, and ignored any shouts to call him back.

He’d watched the green slut for the next four days – or was it more? – and still she didn’t twitch, she didn’t grumble, she didn’t so much as give a sultry eye to a passing blue. B’jin was anxious and fretting, paranoid and becoming more and more snippy as his dragon refused to even hint at when she was going to take to the skies. B’jin knew she was due – beside his own mathematics telling him so, there were the usually blues leering after him and throwing sly comments when he walked past. Every greenrider had their share of lewd stalkers, and B’jin knew he was no exception, especially with Larrikith deviating once more the last two flights. No one at Katila knew he’d been flown by S’kef before, and then with Larrikith claiming Veeth the last flight – well, even he was inclined to believe she’d gone back to her wandering ways. He was afraid to mention as much to R’nd, because the only time Larrikith had been up front with B’jin about his flights was to tell him pointedly that she hated his mate and would keep flying every dragon she could, until she found one for him she liked. B’jin had no idea what he would do, if she had decided she didn’t like R’nd anymore!

As B’jin continued to fret about his dragon’s choice in the upcoming flight, and wonder when she would actually fly, who would win and what they would do to him, B’jin missed the signs he had been trying to foresee of his own proddiness, since Larrikith seemed determined to not give away a hint in the meantime. The result was a startling screech of a randy green caushing B’jin to jump out of his skin in the middle of the trek from the Bathing House and back to the Weyrling barracks, the greenrider huffing irritably when he realised what the unexpected sound was.

Before yelping in surprise when Larrikith’s randy emotions slammed forcefully into him. Wide eyed with shocked surprise, B’jin bolted for the Weyrling Barracks. Ayyonth! He’d be damned if he was going to let his dragon fly some random bastard brown or smug cunt blue! IF YOU DON’T CATCH HER! What exactly B’jin planned to finish that threat with was lost as the greenrider tripped, barely saved himself from planting face first into ground, and went barrelling down the corridor of the Weyrling Barracks, not hearing the warning shout that was called out by various Weyrlings as he went.

“Heads up! Blueriders incoming!” A wicked laugh, “Larrikith is flying!”

R’nd liked to believe he was in tuned with his surroundings and could read people rather well but in the end, he was often oblivious about the most obvious and even confused easily, especially when it came to certain people. B’jin had thrown him for a loop several days earlier when he nearly stomped his way up and gave an irritable hiss of a whisper asking if he was proddy. R’nd hadn’t done much more than blink before slowly pointing out that yes, the greenrider did seem a bit proddy, before he wondered if that was the wrong answer as B’jin stomped off again and ignored all calls – that were borderline pleas – to return.

A closer eye was kept on B’jin after that since the behaviour even before that encounter seemed just off enough to the bluerider that was slowly catching the subtle nuances of B’jin to be noteworthy. Besides, if B’jin truly was proddy, then there was definitely a good reason to stay close! The flight Ayyonth didn’t even bother to enter which led to Tyrrisath winning still upset R’nd and he sometimes wondered if he was more upset over that than even B’jin was. The shape his lover had been in and how B’jin had nearly drowned horrified R’nd and made him want to try smacking the brownrider around some more even if he hid behind the title of Weyrleader now. But B’jin let it go or at least hid any emotions about that flight well enough that R’nd couldn’t risk confronting S’kef. The greenrider had once told him after he had his back savaged by a whip in S’kef’s hand to leave the man alone and not put himself into the line of fire. Of course R’nd had done that easily when drunk and seeing B’jin being accosted but he’d tried to behave ever since.

The most recent flight, however, irritated R’nd almost as much simply because Larrikith had pooled the wool over his eyes by flying by the lake when only Veeth was around. Even if Ayyonth wanted to chase that time, the flight was over almost before it began. What a traumatizing day that had been all around! B’jin had slept with Valerian and he had… well, R’nd was glad he hadn’t won Par’a but losing hadn’t been a victory for once thanks to Indivara. R’nd suspected B’jin wanted a win together as much as he wanted it and wasn’t it about time they were that lucky again? Ayyonth had been lucky three times in their attempts over the turns and while it wasn’t really needed given their relationship of not-mates, R’nd didn’t mind adding to the tally all the same. He was still a bluerider in the end and it also kept creeps like D’hys and S’kef from laying a heavy hand on B’jin.

Even with that determination, R’nd wasn’t near B’jin and barely acknowledged the shriek since greens rising wasn’t that unheard of. It was Ayyonth that noticed first, perking up as he heard Larrikith’s challenge but head snapping up and turning in the direction the greenrider was at when he started threatening the dragon. Ayyonth snorted even as he got to his feet and stretched, preparing for a fun flight after a nice nap. B’jin’s threats weren’t needed this time! Much like R’nd, Ayyonth was done – for now – with not getting invited to the party or purposely skipping out. There would be other times to play their humans’ minds but today he wanted to be with his pretty green companion and no other dragon would stand in his way!

Larrikith flies… and as do I. That was all the warning R’nd was given before Ayyonth pushed off from the ground and joined the tail of males following Larrikith in her always fun patterns across the sky above Katila. She was always a bit of a show off but that was part of why he was so fond of her! Life was never dull with Larrikith around.

R’nd scrambled off of the couch where he had been sprawled while reading a rather boring history book. Through no fault of B’jin’s, the bluerider sometimes felt inadequate with his lack of continued education and only the basics in all areas given to him so he had lately taken to reading more and even copying some of the more interesting stories as a means of increasing his writing abilities as well. The book was forgotten though as R’nd ran out of his hut and in the direction he instinctively knew B’jin would be in – though putting on shoes before leaving was one instinct that was overlooked.

With too many hops, skips, and jumps along the way thanks to pebbles and even a few blurry visions as Ayyonth’s lust crashed with his own and threw him off balance, R’nd finally slid to a halt at the Weyrling Barracks. The pause was only long enough to squeeze by a couple of weyrlings laughing at those entering the building. They’d be in his shoes before they knew it! Only not entirely, he hoped! R’nd didn’t want any further competition since he was the only incoming bluerider that mattered!

He was neither here nor there as he half ran half stumbled down the corridor, sending a Weyrling sprawling when the youngster didn’t get out of the way fast enough and completely oblivious to the cat calling that was going on within the building. Brown eyes cleared for a moment as his door was reached, and B’jin pushed it open, but didn’t enter, turning around as Larrikith’s lust reclaimed his mind in time to see a bluerider pressing down on him. Recognition vanished as Larrikith shrieked her rage at an attempted snatch, and B’jin copied her on the ground, the sound inhuman as B’jin slashed out with one hand, swiping fingers down the blueriders face even as Larrikith clawed at the blue, sending him careening away and out of the race. They hissed in furious pleasure, the greenrider pressing himself back against the doorframe while Larrikith preened in satisfaction, dipping into a cloud, loosing many of her followers when she came out at an unexpected angle.

The pair made a sound of vicious pleasure as they peered over the shoulder, watching many of their prospective suitors bellow in surprise and try to rearrange their flight pattern. Fools! They hissed, and B’jin gave an angry snarl when a rider tried to force him into a kiss, biting the other man’s lip and shoving him away solidly. Larrikith shrieked, her own jaws snapping at the other beast with disdain – He was not worthy of she! No sooner had the thought processed than there was a grip, tail and neck twining-! They hissed in fury, dragon and rider alike striking out to claw at the one who had dared to snatch them from the beautiful open skies, before the presence of who it was sunk in.

Larrikith relaxed into Ayyonth’s solid hold, crooning happily. B’jin faltered for a moment, then pressed into the bluerider, brown eyes wide with lusty delight, but devoid of any humanity as he allowed the bluerider to shift them into the room, the forgotten door jerked shut by an Assistant that set about shooing giggling and awestruck weyrlings away from the scene before they were grabbed by a lusty loser.

It's kind of awful XD

While Ayyonth was in control, R’nd’s determination fuelled them both all the same as the rider was done with the dragons’ games and losing before even entering. Losing even with entering wouldn’t sit any better, however, and the drive to win both for his selfish reason of enjoying the moment when consciousness was upon him once more and realizing B’jin was beside him as well as the desire to see B’jin never again bruised and bloodied from a flight was mighty. This was their win and Ayyonth agreed. He was fine with Larrikith’s games but he wanted to show her he still had an interest in her and this time he wasn’t going to let a sweet weyrling win nor would he let anyone else presume they were good enough.

Ayyonth stayed on Larrikith’s tail, only faltering briefly when she made her daring move through the clouds before taking up his place once more in the leader’s pack. He knew it was only a matter time when an opening would present itself and when a foolish dragon tried too early, Ayyonth used it to his advantage and twined with her though it wasn’t the gentlest of collisions they had ever had. On R’nd’s end, he helped shove aside the foolish dragon’s rider that dared presume he could touch B’jin with or without permission and stepped closer to his lover. Arms extended to reach for the greenrider when Ayyonth made his move and R’nd did his best to ignore the flailing that took place before either recognition or submission sunk in and they too became wrapped up in each other.

As he shuffled them into the room B’jin had so kindly led them to, R’nd grinned against the mouth he continued to claim; completely lost to his lust and unaware of anyone or anything else around them.

~*~The fun part!~*~

R’nd stirred with eyes fluttering open to take in the surroundings. They seemed vaguely familiar but it was the man beside him that had the bluerider smiling and then wincing when he moved to play the role of the big spoon and cuddle up against B’jin from behind. While it wasn’t unusual to be sore after a flight from either a great work out or a partner that liked it a bit too rough, R’nd noticed on his quick inspection of his arm that there were a few scratch marks as well. It looked like either a fellow chaser or the greenrider himself had been a bit feistier than usual! R’nd didn’t really mind despite his vanity and gently set his arm down around B’jin’s waist. “Good morning, love,” R’nd whispered against a patch of neck that wasn’t covered by long locks. He didn’t have any idea what time it actually was since the curtains were closed and there wasn’t a desire to move and find out but given their past and the way they liked to reference it at random intervals, it felt appropriate.

It also felt appropriate to lazily nibble on the neck his nose helped expose by pushing away a bit more hair. It wasn’t his fault B’jin was addictive and he couldn’t restrain himself! “We found a bed this time,” R’nd mumbled against the shoulder blade his mouth had worked its way down to, fairly amused that they had finally found their way back to a bed after a couple of interesting locations that involved classrooms and beaches. In a way, the bed was almost more surprising than the classroom had been!

The gentle touch and the change in breathing had a light frown tugging B’jin’s eyebrows together above his still closed eyes. He was losing his touch of waking and dashing away before his lover did, and the gentle touch was definitely not that of someone who was going to let him get away unscathed! The tension that was coiling in the greenrider’s body came to a sudden stop, and spiralled away when R’nd’s voice was recognised, B’jin feeling foolish for not recognising his lover’s touch, turned his head to flash the other man a bright smile, brown eyes lighting up with delight. “Hello!” Despite the enthusiasm in the single word, B’jin took care to speak lowly, humming happily as R’nd seemed determined to keep him distracted.

“We did!” B’jin agreed, grinning charmingly as he wriggled away from R’nd and his eager nibbles, enough to roll over and face his lover, throwing himself into an awkward hug as he clung to him. “Wonderful bluerider!” B’jin purred, leaning in for a lingering kiss before pulling back, still radiating pure delight at the situation. Thank you! B’jin wasn’t even sure which of the two dragons the comment was aimed at, but didn’t feel it really mattered! It was ever so nice to finally end up with someone worth waking up with! Larrikith rumbled in amused pleasure, enjoying her human’s rare positive response to a flight.

A chagrin expression replaced the otherwise overjoyed air rolling off B’jin as his fingers, which had begun wandering, discovered the scratches on his lover’s arm. Leaning up on an elbow, B’jin frowned at them for a moment before dropping back down and giving R’nd an apologetic look, tinged with a whisper of amusement, “Sorry, love.” He traced lightly over the scratches, barely touching, before letting his hand wander once more, his touch not really sexual or inviting; it simply was. Brown eyes were still bright, dancing with the delight of his good fortune, and the smile not quite willing to leave his face, though it wasn’t overly obvious.

“You’ve been slack, my love,” B’jin teased, giving R’nd a sly look from under his lashes as his cheerful smile was tainted slightly by mischief. “Making us wait two flights,” the ‘us’ was left ambiguous; whether it was in reference to Larrikith, or to R’nd himself, was up for the bluerider to decide. B’jin enjoyed the not-relationship he held with the bluerider outside of flights, and while he still wasn’t sure why the younger man seemed to keep coming back to him, B’jin wasn’t really going to start asking questions now! That didn’t stop him being far more pleased with his mischievous green dragon’s flights when they resulted in waking up with his delightfully wonderful lover!

“Amazing greenrider,” R’nd countered after the lingering kiss, far too happy with the compliment paid to him. He wasn’t a stranger to such things – from other people. B’jin, however, was rather tight-lipped when it came to dishing out flattery and listing things he liked about the bluerider so to be called wonderful by the man was rather remarkable to R’nd, though he knew better than to make a fuss over it. A compliment in return, which was merely a truth he had spoken multiple times in the past, was given instead as fingers brushed back B’jin’s hair that still didn’t like to stay behind his ear even at its long length.

As B’jin found the scratches and gave the apology, R’nd shook his head to deny the need for such words. “Scratches heal and I’m not worried about them so neither should you be.” They didn’t seem deep so Talian’s attention wouldn’t be needed and a bath later on would ensure the marks were cleaned so R’nd didn’t feel there was a risk of infection or an ugly healing process. He simply bore something that was common enough amongst flights. Given the light air to the apology and the smile that never left the greenrider’s face, R’nd knew B’jin wasn’t worried himself but it never hurt to give out extra reassurances. “I’ve recovered from far worse from encounters that were far less enjoyable.” A quick kiss was given to B’jin’s a nose, another trademark move he had adopted over his time with the older man.

The idea to pull B’jin back in so they could snuggle, sleep, or entertain each other further was appealing but before B’jin’s sly look and playful chiding caught him by surprise. R’nd stared at B’jin, giving only a few rapid blinks for several seconds as he processed the words properly. It wasn’t like he had wanted to skip the last two flights! S’kef’s win still angered R’nd if he let himself dwell on it too long and Ayyonth had nearly been disowned over it. He had wanted to chase! His stupid dragon thought it would be better not to. The last flight R’nd hadn’t even known had happened until after the fact. It was fairly amusing to hear Valerian had won after all his protesting at being caught up in a flight before at the lake with B’jin but given the flight R’nd had found himself in at the same time and how that ended, he was pretty sulky the rest of the night.

“It’s never my intention to lose or miss out on any of your flights,” he mumbled through a pout, unaware at how revealing that statement could be or how it could be twisted into something negative and viewed as a bluerider only wanting to claim wins over and over. “But when missed flights do happen, it only makes our wins more memorable and looked forward to.” R’nd perked up a bit with a mischievous grin as his arrogance returned. B’jin asking if he was proddy only now made it seem like the greenrider was trying to figure out when Larrikith would fly and to ensure the right person was around when it happened. R’nd did love being sought after and desired after all!

“I would promise not to miss another but I think that’s just asking for a certain blue and green duo to conspire against me.” He laughed and traced his fingers along B’jin’s warm skin as a distraction for hands that wanted to do much more wandering. R’nd knew the dragons loved them both but he also knew they both loved pranks and making their lives miserable in small doses whenever they could. They clearly already liked the idea of messing with flights – they most certainly did not need another reason to make it a regular thing!

When the dancing fingers were about to make the move to a chest, R’nd caught a streak of blue appearing across the room and he hesitated. He had forgotten about Rell! The flitter had stayed away during the flight – R’nd assumed given the way the firelizard only appeared then – but he was there now and B’jin wouldn’t be too pleased at being watched by something that could rebroadcast their time together to everyone. More amused than worried, R’nd grabbed the edge of the sheet at their waists and gave it a quick tug to send it up over their heads where he held it in just the right way to have it tented enough so it wasn’t coming down on their faces. “When you were little,” he began, oddly feeling bold enough to ask a direct direction even if it was bordering more on whimsical than anything else, “were you ever afraid of your darkened bedroom and hid under the covers, convinced that would keep you safe from what lurked in the dark?” R’nd recalled doing that during nasty storms rolling in over the ocean when he was a child, as well as hiding from his nightmares during the exile, and even now he would still take the sheets as protection against the sunlight and a chipper lover trying to wake him far too early in the morning.

B’jin laughed softly as a gentle kiss was placed upon his nose, brown eyes sparkling with warmth and affection, emotions which only intensified at R’nd’s shocked blinking. The greenrider’s amusement only intensified as he watched his bluerider struggle with the change in direction their idle chatter had gone, a small smile playing at B’jin’s lips. The sulkily mumbled words of his bedmate had the greenrider pausing, issuing his own rapid blinking before his face lit up and he smiled cheerfully. He completely missed any allure that might have been there of R’nd being all-bluerider, instead picking up only on as much of the statement as he himself were prepared to accept; R’nd preferred not to miss his flights. What more might have been buried in that statement was lost on B’jin, who was quite pleased his desire to have his flights won by the younger rider wasn’t one sided.

The greenrider laughed softly as R’nd’s air changed suddenly to hold the smugness that B’jin took to mean something had just fed his lover’s ego – he was inclined to blame Larrikith, who just snorted in response – and made no attempt to poke a hole in it. Instead, he snorted himself as R’nd commented on their ghastly dragons, and B’jin rolled his eyes dramatically. “Terrible creatures,” he replied with good nature, smiling playfully.

Wrapped up as he was in letting his fingers trace over as much of R’nd as he could without actually turning it into something (a game of some type, given the sly looks B’jin was tossing R’nd at intervals), the greenrider startled badly as R’nd suddenly jerked, throwing his arm up – followed by the sheet – and B’jin flinched away instinctively, eyes wide and darting as he tried to figure out what he’d done to set off the reaction. His hands had jerked in to his own chest, fingers locked and hands pressed tightly against himself. A moment later, and R’nd’s whimsical question had B’jin relaxing visibly, and he released a soft, shaky sigh. His hands untangled, one reaching out to touch R’nd gently as B’jin shifted a bit closer while the other kept the slope of material off his face.

“I don’t think so,” B’jin answered honestly, after thinking quietly for a little while. He pressed himself closer to his lover, apologising for his reaction without verbally drawing attention to it. It wasn’t the first time B’jin had reacted to something R’nd had done, and he doubted (with an internal flinch) it would be the last, but past experiences told him the bluerider wouldn’t press the issue. One day he would, but B’jin was content to leave that alone until it happened. “I went to the Hall when I was ten, remember,” he tapped R’nd playfully on the tip of his nose with one finger. “And it is best for little peasant boys not to hide under covers from rich little lordlings. It makes them angry.” He smirked, arrogance tainting the expression. “Not as angry as being better than them, though.”

R’nd would have smacked his forehead as punishment for what he had done if it weren’t for his holding the sheet in place and B’jin slowly cuddling closer every few heartbeats. How could he have been so foolish as to make such a sudden and unexpected movement, especially while B’jin was relaxed with his guard utterly down? He had learned early on that some actions triggered the greenrider’s sense of self-preservation and he seemed to brace for being struck or yelled at. It was devastating to see when R’nd was a gentle soul and could barely fight – which he should have proven by then with his encounters with S’kef – but it shattered his heart now. An apology was on his lips, as well as an explanation but B’jin beat him to the task with his silent apology. He knew better than to mention anything further on either of their actions or reactions. Still, R’nd felt like he had to work on controlling his emotions when Rell suddenly appeared. It was almost amusing how B’jin seemed to like the small blue more than he did at times, or at least could accept him. He had panicked, worrying the firelizard would share their image together with everyone which would upset B’jin so R’nd solved that as quickly as he could which still upset the greenrider in some way.

At least he had his silly question posed between them as a distraction from the near-disaster he had almost caused. R’nd smiled at the finger poking his nose and stuck his tongue out in an effort to catch the playful digit but missed. He wasn’t really surprised by the answer. It was a little sad that someone couldn’t enjoy that childish ritual but at the same time, the bluerider wanted to believe it wasn’t needed because nothing scared B’jin back then. With his free hand once more roaming over B’jin’s skin, R’nd used it as a temporary distraction from the reason hiding was never needed. A slight frown took over his features at the talk of peasant boys and rich little lordlings and R’nd was reminded of another difference between them and how close he was to protesting not every lordling was a bully.

While his father held a minor Hold that did well enough, R’nd knew there were others in the area that held more lands, had more vessels, and were richer. So while he was once upon a time technically a little lordling, R’nd didn’t like to view himself as such any longer. He never saw B’jin as a peasant either; in fact, in the greenrider ranked higher than him in his opinion. B’jin was older, Impressed before him as well, and held high status positions by being a Searcher and a Weyrlingmaster. R’nd could hate a brownrider as much as the next person but in the end, he wasn’t a colourist and never looked down on greenriders. He was, however, going to focus on the positive like he always did and smiled softly at his lover as his arm came to rest draped over B’jin’s waist.

“Well, I like hiding under the sheets with you.” The teasing touches of earlier hadn’t been forgotten or overlooked and now that the mood around them had relaxed once again, R’nd caved and went in for a slow lingering kiss. A wicked grin was in place when R’nd pulled away reluctantly. “And forget everyone else who doesn’t like the idea of you, a bed, and a sheet.”

Larrikith? R’nd waited a moment to make sure the green dragon had a line on him and if she didn’t, Ayyonth would undoubtedly tell her to tune in or pass the comment along. Thank you. He didn’t elaborate but Larrikith was clever and she likely already knew all the reasons why he was grateful – possibly more than even he knew! The main ones, of course, were for liking him and giving him a chance to be with B’jin and learn more about the private man but also for always letting R’nd correct his messes he made with her rider. Larrikith’s patience was amazing in that regard.

While B’jin noticed R’nd’s reaction to his reaction, he was determinedly pretending that he didn’t. The greenrider didn’t like the way R’nd got upset when he reacted,  the way he somehow twisted it to be his fault – how he did that, B’jin wasn’t sure, had never asked, didn’t want to know – it was in the past, both the past-past and the moment-ago-past and getting uptight about it seemed silly to B’jin. Better to just pretend that none of it was there, none of it mattered, and as if it hadn’t happened. That was better. So he ignored R’nd’s reaction as best he could, just as he ignored his own, all the while cuddling closer to the bluerider, hands once more roaming gently.

A soft breath of laughter was released as R’nd chased after his finger, and B’jin wiggled it teasingly out of reach before that hand, too, took up exploring the body before him. He liked the gentle innocent touches, and he liked the way R’nd didn’t (always) turn them into more; how he was never questioned or gotten annoyed with over them (except when he apparently tickled his lover…). His hands were free to roam where they wanted, and B’jin enjoyed that small fact almost as much as he enjoyed the actions themselves. Twisting slightly, the greenrider placed a placid kiss on R’nd’s nose, smiling as the bluerider’s arm draped across him. “Hnn,” was the only agreement R’nd got before there was kissing to focus on, and that was far more important than words!  Then the bluerider was pulling away, and B’jin frowned at him.

“Who doesn’t like the idea of me, a bed, and a sheet?” B’jin asked, an eyebrow arching as he grinned smugly at R’nd. B’jin knew he had a few followers amongst the dragonrider population that would like a piece of tail, but for the most part he didn’t consider himself particularly desired. His words were spoken in a teasing, playful manner that was far more smartarsery than any real belief in the idea that everyone desired him. His voice? Now, that was a completely different story, and B’jin was quite positive everyone got excited when he sung. His body, not so much; he was quite happy with only one pretty bluerider wanting him though.

“I’m very desirable, you know.” B’jin smiled up at R’nd coyly, fluttering his lashes playfully. He opened his mouth to say something else, a bright, naughty sparkle in his eyes as his hand trailed delicately down R’nd’s stomach with a distinct intention – and was interrupted by Larrikith. The green dragon threaded her way into both men’s minds, doing her best to keep them from immediately picking up on the fact that she was bespeaking them both at once, before she did so, flicking a foot to tap Ayyonth playfully. Two thankyous from as many people! I am feeling divine! Then she withdrew lightly, watching through B’jin’s eyes and touching on his emotions to see how her words would be received.

Failing to think of a suitably witty retort to throw at the bluerider in response to Larrikith’s quip, B’jin opted to simply go with an insufferably smug smirk.

Only fools wouldn’t like the idea of B’jin in bed and R’nd certainly had never been one of those! Well, he could definitely be counted as a fool at times but he always knew the wonderful qualities of B’jin so the label didn’t apply to him right then. It was probably borderline pathetic with how long he carried an interest in the greenrider but R’nd figured it definitely was pathetic with how he couldn’t manage to tell the man about any of it. He came close at times, like now, but not being one to freely talk about himself without some prompting left R’nd keeping a lot of it an odd secret. “I know exactly how desirable you are, love,” the bluerider purred, taking the chance to confess a little while making it sound like foreplay to go with the wandering south hands.

That of course meant it was the perfect time for a dragon to show up and Larrikith, a rather graceful green, flopped down in his mind making R’nd tilt his head slightly in curiosity. They talked at random and R’nd never really thought about it too much since Ayyonth bespoke B’jin as well but he was the one that spoke to her first this time, though it was before B’jin’s touch lost the innocence. Annoyance was nowhere to be seen as Larrikith hinted both humans had thanked her and while R’nd couldn’t say what he had actually thanked her for, he knew he had no idea what his lover had said to the green. So he gave a soft laugh, especially when B’jin’s smugness was seen. He shouldn’t add to it but he did anyway, “and a thank you to you as well, amazing greenrider.” No, he wasn’t going to explain what the gratitude was for. The list was long and a bit embarrassing but R’nd felt B’jin needed to hear it even without the details attached to it and grinned innocently to make it known that was all B’jin was getting.

“You know what else you missed out on by not hiding under the sheets?” R’nd’s innocent smile faded away and was left with a wicked grin as he shifted enough to roll B’jin properly onto his back instead of curling up so close. A leg was flung over one of B’jin’s so he was slightly straddling the greenrider and R’nd repositioned the hand that still held the sheet down so no curious firelizards could peek in. “Sneaky make out times.” Without another word, R’nd went right for B’jin’s neck to nibble gently on.

They’re like children, the blue dragon shook his head though he was amused at how many different ways the humans could come up with to almost misunderstand the other as well as the clever ways they had for initiating more intimate interaction.
