She gave B’kit a warm smile, not sure if she really helped him much—especially since she had also been the one to make him break down. It was good to cry and voice the frustrations and fears, something that took her a while to figure out as she had been too embarrassed for the longest time to even want to see A’dis let alone confide in him. “You know what else is helpful? Good food made by a friend. Shall we peek at what you have and see what I can whip together? My mom always said that a meal could make friends out of anyone but meals made with love healed friends.” Vessaelia always thought her mom was a bit odd with her advice and sayings but the older she got, the more a lot of them made sense. In this case, though, she wished anything she made really would heal B’kit and Erebuth but she’d also be happy if it brought the hoped-for comfort. Maybe if she was lucky he’d have the needed items for friendship bread! That would be perfect and it was simple enough that he could make it again if he liked it.
