Mylorah still wasn't convinced, even when he promised and reiterated they were good. But they were still able to share a laugh and hadn't argued and no one seemed angry--just weird. Maybe it was just some lordly thing that she wasn't picking up on. She tried to show an interest in the Hold side of Tazikel but even he wasn't too enthused about it so they didn't talk too much about it, though she did try to pay some sort of attention when she went to the parties. Obviously she missed something somewhere or maybe they had both received some news via letter.
Whatever it was, she'd let it go. For now. It was clear Tazikel didn't want to talk about it and it wasn't like she could even try to get it out of Kor'is for a while anyway thanks to his attention needing to be on Taith. So she finally gave Tazikel a smile and nodded at his idea. "Both. You can start by telling me about the one Kordi teased me with just now as we walk back to the barracks to change. I really hate this robe and I hate how often you see me in it."
Mylorah frowned as she tugged at the rough and ugly material. The day would eventually come where she didn't need to wear it anymore and she really hoped that would be because she Impressed and not due to aging out. But she still had quite a while to go before at least the aging out happened so she wasn't giving up hope yet. She could tolerate being seen in the thing a while longer--especially when Tazikel was there to help her out of it. Though, with only the one itchy layer, it was a lot easier than some other dresses he helped her out of.
