T'ryn had long ago gotten over the nerves that came with going to his aunt's house since he was used to the varying personalities and the teasing and embarrassing stories that always came when family got together. But today was a bit different. For one, Tazikel was coming with Mylorah and he liked the Lordling and didn't need him judging him by his family's antics. But the bigger thing was, he had somehow given himself a blind date with a new friend's twin sister. Add in his family, N'mor, and Casa, and he was doomed.
Still, he was looking forward to it and as promised to Caz, T'ryn was wearing his new leather pants, boots, and vest that were all created around a shirt he happened to like wearing for slightly more formal gathers. He thought he looked damn good, if a bit self-conscious since the pants were tighter than anything else he owned. He had spent the last two hours wearing them and constantly moving around, making sure he actually could move despite all the testing done the day of the fitting. He'd even climbed up and down Syrendryth several times to ensure that wouldn't be a problem.
He had brought Tazikel to the Weyr earlier in the day so he could mingle with friends before Mylorah dragged him along as her date. They were cute together and he still couldn't help but wonder how serious it was underneath it all and whose heart would break first. Luckily, he wouldn't have to bring Tazikel to Eridella's since A'tay and Xyxyth volunteered and Casa and Thallyath were taking Mylorah. B'jin and R'nd were picking up their other dragonless children so that meant he was left to bring only his... date.
As he made his way down to Caz's, T'ryn wondered again why he had jokingly made the offer to bring Cazan and why Caz thought it was a great idea. But if she was anything like her brother, he was confident they'd get along well and it sounded like she needed a night out as much as he probably did so it made sense in the end.
Knowing Caz said he'd be busy and likely not in when T'ryn came by, T'ryn knocked on the door and called out for his date instead. "Cazan? It's T'ryn. I'm here to pick you up." Assuming she didn't change her mind as soon as she laid eyes on him. He steeled himself, prepared for that potential outcome.
