D'hys cracked his jaw, testing it out after the punch that had admittedly caught him off guard and slowly turned his glare back to the man that clearly lacked in common sense. "First one's free. Care to try again?" His glare turned into a feral grin as he all but beckoned the idiot to attack. As predicted, Dumber --because the other guy at least recognised he was in over his head and D'hys considered him only Dumb--still had a need to show off he had the bigger dick, or perhaps simply was the bigger dick, and took a step forward to finish what he started.
That step was all that was needed to trigger the sign a fight was desired and D'hys swung out a palm, catching the man's nose square on to break it. Before he could fully recover, another punch was thrown, this time to the stomach. When he hunched over from the blow, D'hys decided to finish the whole ordeal and stepped around the loudmouth and waited until he started to straighten before landing a kidney shot. Perhaps it was unnecessary considering the rider was about to go to his knees anyway, but D'hys wasn't taking any chances, not when more weyrlings were coming to join the fray. He wanted this man down and out and it seemed he had achieved the 'down' and the 'out' was coming close as Dumber writhed on the ground.
D'hys didn't bother saying anything else to Dumber, having already washed him from his mind as he stepped back around to address the original two involved and saw Zeianth had come closer and was clearly working on the feisty blue weyrling.Hush now, young one. You did well defending your rider but the trouble is over now. Let go of your anger and check that your rider is okay.
"You should probably watch how much sass you throw around, Mylorah," when the girl answered by lifting her chin in stubborn defiance, D'hys snorted in amusement. He had no doubt she would have been clawing her attacker and fighting dirty if she had to; she was raised in a jungle after all.
"And you, B'kit,," he turned to B'kit, keeping back several feet so as not to crowd the upset dragon, and took a moment to scan the pair for any physical markings, though D'hys was certain it had only been verbal remarks that had been made before he arrived. "Are the two of you okay?" He wasn't sure if getting so riled up was good for the dragon given his difficult early days of life and hoped Erebuth wasn't about to keel over from heart failure.
