General Appearance: K’ton is slightly below average standing at around 6’ with a fit frame. His broad shoulders end in a neatly tapered waist. He possesses startling blue eyes and wavy dark brown hair. He tends to keep his hair in an unkempt mess and his face always has at least a 5 o’clock shadow. Helps keep the baby face in check. He has a strong jaw and a rather wide mouth with the top lip being slightly fuller than the bottom.

His is a swarthy complexion from the years spent in the south. He has a wide easy smile that reflects in his blue eyes. Eyes that are topped by thick straight brows and rather long thick lashes. Lashes he’s been teased for. Girly they are but the ladies seem to love them. He has a wiry lean build, thats neither too muscled or not enough. It seems to be just right.

Dressing Style: Pants and shirts is about all the man will wear. Either that or he’ll run about half naked given the chance. What better way for the ladies to admire his form?

[color=#B5B5B5]General Character Traits: K’ton thinks he’s a ladies man. This isn’t helped by the fact that he is rarely without feminine company. He doesn’t particularly like children but he tolerates them because Ironth seems to enjoy their company. There are times when, like Ironth, K’ton needs to be alone and will bar his door to company.

Has a rather strong dislike for firelizards. Likens them to tunnelsnakes and he hasn't quite figure out why he dislikes them so. K'ton is a bit annoyed that his rough and tumble (okay not really) brown has a simply moronic fascination with them. Ironth is stead fast in his refusal to disregard the little things and continues to plague K'ton with requests for one or four. Thus far K'ton has been able to waylay the requests but as nothing pleases him more than making Ironth happy... Well.. We'll just say the brown is wearing his rider down.

K'ton likes women. He has always liked women and he will always like women. Greenflights are a huge issue for K'ton. Since the majority of green riders are male and on occasion Ironth wins a flight, K'ton finds himself waking next to men some nights. For a hold bred boy that never quite got over his homophobic tendencies even during weyrling life, the knowledge is disturbing. He's 35 and its highly doubtful that he will change that view anytime soon outside of flightlust.

Likes:
Women: K’ton is a self proclaimed ladies man. There isn’t a woman he doesn’t like.
Himself: What’s not to like? He’s charming, good looking, and fabulous.
Ironth: K’ton loves his dragon more than anything, even more than himself, which is saying something.

Dislikes:
Firelizards: K’ton has a general dislike of the annoying little creatures. It irritates him like no other that Ironth is incredibly fascinated by them. Ironth is wearing him down with his constant requests for little friends.
Felines: When Ironth and K’ton first went south when the weyrs were banish they were alone for some time before Nirinath’s call. During this time a pack of felines attempted to make a meal of K’ton during which Ironth received his wounds.
Greenflights : K’ton is staunchly hetero… Until a greenflight that is and it seems to bother the hold bred boy when he wakes beside a man on those occasions when Ironth wins a flight.

Habits/Mannerisms: Likes to feign a broken heart at the slightest provocation. Taps his foot with irritation and has an annoying habit of wiggling his brows.

Strengths: Honest. K’ton is rather honest for a womanizer. He isn’t afraid to tell anyone the truth whether they like t or not. Not necessarily a strength but because of his rather large ego K’ton has somewhat of a hero complex and will come to the aid of those who need it.

Flaws: K’ton’s flaws are varied and possibly many. He is arrogant and rather uncaring when it comes to people. The only thing K’ton really cares about is Ironth and himself. He has a rather overly inflated sense of self. None of these makes for a very “friend” friendly man though he never seems to have much trouble with the ladies.

211-12 AL age 14 : Search by rider from Telgar Weyr. Father is proud and sisters are ecstatic. Keeton becomes candidate and settles in to lessons and weyr life with enthusiasm
213 AL age 15 : Stands at the Higher Destinations clutch. Impresses Ironth. Probably the greatest joys he’s ever known.
213-215 AL age 15 -17 : Weyrling life treats him good. He and Ironth get on famously, though Ironth tends to "father" Keeton when he gets out of hand.
215 AL age 18 : Graduates from weyrlinghood, becomes K’ton. Is rotated into a wing as a wingrider. Is excited at the prospect of being a "real" dragonrider.
215 AL age 18 : Wings are restricted from flight as dragon's begin to get sick. Telgar closes its borders to outside dragons and firelizards.
216 AL age 19 : Is banished along with the rest of the weyr to the south. Took off on his own as soon as Ironth was rested enough.
216-19 AL age 19-22 : Finds a suitable place and begins to build a makeshift hut. Hut is finished. Shortly after hut is finished K'ton is attacked by a pack of felines. Ironth fends them off but not before receiving two large gashes on his left flank. K'ton is heart stricken. Tends Ironth's wounds the best he can. Ironth heals and is left with two jagged scars, K'ton is left with a nice feline pelt.
220 AL age 22 : Ironth and K'ton heed Nirinath's call. Is saddened that so many dragons had been lost.
220 AL age 23 : Helps begin construction on the weyr that would be called Katila. Begins construction on his own personal hut and Ironth's wallow. Ironth falls into a mild depression at the death of two more dragons and their riders. K'ton begins mild seduction of various woman. Ironth pulls out of his slump.
221 AL age 24 : Sequesters himself in his hut at the outbreak of firehead. Is unwilling to answer an summons for fear he'll end up like the rest.
222 AL age 25 : Distances himself far, far away from the "rebels".
223 AL age 25-26 : More dragons and riders lost. Ironth keens and mourns but does not feel the loss as definite has the first.
224 AL age 26 : Chafes at the restriction placed on the riders by Tsuen. He had a real interest in meeting those northern ships. News of the north would have been welcome.
225 AL age 27 : Storm takes out half the weyr and half his hut. Spends the turn helping rebuild.
226 AL age 27-28 :[i] Watches sadly as Tsuen banishes a brown and his rider when the brown catches a cold. Laughs when the banished rider catches the foolish wherries who burn down Tsuen's hut

227 AL age 29 : Shocked as hell when Nirinath Rises. Ironth chases though K'ton is leery. Nirinath is caught by D'ren's Ronarth. K'ton is relieved the bigger bronze caught the gold. Couldn't do for him to be weyrleader where then, would his fun be?
227 AL age 30 : As excited as the rest at the modest size of Nirinath's clutch of seventeen. Doesn't give a fig when Tsuen demands candidates be stolen from the north. They needed them so they needed to be here. Celebrates with the rest of the weyr when 15 of the 17 impress (of course it was sad that two did not). Shook his head with sorrow when the "wrong" blue betweened without his rider and shrugged and nodded when the girl was dropped between
229 AL age 31 : Celebrates the graduation of Nirinath's first clutch since coming south. Shakes his head at the stupidity of greenriders .
230-31 AL age 32-33 : Unaffected by much in these turns. Besides Nirinath's second rising and the gold hatchling. Was rather disgusted with the public display of lashings. Was unaffected by who it was but rather the act. It should have been kept a private affair.
232 AL age 34 : Would've strangled Tsuen is he could have at the public lashing of a candidate. A freaking candidate! Who does that? Applauded D'ren when he gave her a "what for!"

Alright. Maybe the little flying tunnelsnakes weren't so bad, K'ton thought to himself as the little brown continued to croon and chittering at his shoulder. [color=#402b21]He likes you K'ton. He is a very happy fire lizard Ironth commented with amusement. "Yes I suppose he is," K'ton replied. The little bronze seemed to be a touch braver as the little firelizard winged here and there, on his own investigation of the brush around them.

K'ton started as the little bronze pop out of between straight in front of him. He scowled. Yes, the firelizards were that bad. This one happened to be offering him a bloody bit of meat. Now where did he get that? Looked like herdbeast hide attached to the bloody strip. "Show me where you found this," he told the little bronze as he started off in the last direction he saw the bronze. K'ton don't wander too far. I can not fit through there! the brown said with a touch of worry. Oh come on Ironth, there isn't anything around. You'd have smelt them if there were! he replied to Ironth and this time it was K'ton who was amused.

The little firelizard popped between after the command K'ton put to it. Shard it! He couldn't go between like the little thing and he had no idea where'd he'd gone. K'ton was on the verge of shouting when the bronze popped back out and began chittering at him in a manner that sounded suspiciously like a scolding. "I can't follow you like that! And quit that chattering at me like its my fault!" he grumbled at the firelizard. Shard it! Now he was talking to it! The bronze gave him one last chirp before winging off in the direction K'ton had started, a smaller trail that Ironth indeed could not fit through. As the came to where the firelizard had found the meat, K'ton found evidence of quite a few herd beasts. The animals must've spooked at something. The trail was beaten down and muddy, much of the brush at the sides trampled and broken.

He hunkered down next to the dead animal. "Certainly is a herd beast," he said as he sawed a bit of flesh off and fed it to the firelizards. He traced a hand down the marks along its side, "Funny... Those look a lot like feline claw marks," he said as he heard a faint growl coming from the under brush, "Funny.. That sounded an awful lot like a feline growl" He looked up in time to see the distinctive feline pattern flow through the openings in the underbrush.. K'ton was a brave man, a courageous man. He knew this everyone told him this - maybe not everyone... Maybe just the various women he pleasured - so he was firm in the knowledge that his next action was not cowardly, but rather self-preservation. Never mind that he could have call Ironth to save him. He apparently forgot he had a dragon as K'ton ran. He ran and shouted and sounded suspiciously like a woman as he did so...

General Appearance:
Adulthood: Ironth is a rather well put together individual. His body is mostly proportionate with only his tail being slightly longer than normal. He is a deep earth brown that lightens to a tan color along his points. Other than this he is a pretty standard brown. He carries two jagged scars along his left flank. He is 27 feet long and stands 13 and a half ft tall with a wingspan of 40 and a half feet.
Mind Voice: Ironth possesses a smooth melodic voice that is soothing and at times rather stern.
Personality:
General Personality: Ironth is a perfect stabilizer for K’ton. Where K’ton rushes ahead and does what he pleases Ironth is there to reel him in. He is a rather steady eddy and it takes much to actually ruffle his feathers. He enjoys being around human children and will sometimes even let them climb on him but not as often as they would like.
Likes: K’ton of course is his number one like. For all his rider is a silly man Ironth enjoys him emensely.
Ironth also has taken a rather strong like for firelizards and bugs K’ton incessantly to find a few so he can have some friends.
Dislikes: Ironth has a deep and passionate hatred for the wild felines that populate the south, that mostly stems from the attack of K’ton when they first arrived south.
Ironth also mildly dislikes tunnelsnakes not because they are poisonous or the like. He thinks they are rather unpleasant tasting.
Habits/Mannerisms: Has a rather annoying (to K'ton at least) of "fathering" him as opposed to "mothering" him. It's a bit endearing but his unusually bad (or good depending on the view) timing drives K'ton nuts.
Strengths: Ironth has a rather good sense of direction. He almost always knows where he is. Ironth also possesses a rather good memory. He can’t remember months back but a few weeks back is not a feat for him to remember. He also can almost always place a name to a face. This is always a source of fun for K’ton to see who and how many people Ironth can remember.
Weaknesses: One of the largest weaknesses that Ironth possesses is the occasional onslaught of anxiety. K’ton isn’t sure whether the manifestation of it is due to the rather stressful time that they had barely out of weyrlinghood or if its just part of who Ironth has always been. Because of this there are times when Ironth needs to be away from the hustle and bustle of the weyr.
