742.09.24 | Land and sea - R'dan - 25.Sep.21

Are you going to race when they have them open?

"Dunno," the bronzerider told the dragon as he wandered around the gather proper. R'dan knew Tillek, knew the hold well enough that he didn't need someone to show him. It helped he'd been raised in Nerat, born in another sea hold that traded regularly with Tillek. This wasn't the first gather he'd enjoyed at this hold either and Sorenth knew from R'dan's memories that Tillek held boat races during their gather.

Could be fun

"It is fun," he chuckled. R'dan's verbal speech to Sorenth drew looks from others that he enjoyed, amusement high in his eyes as he winked at a lady gawking at him. Probably in more than one way too. R'dan liked the chaos speaking out loud to Sorenth gave him, let him play a little with the holders around him as they thought him cracked in the mind. Another grin and a wink before the bronzerider turned a corner.

He wasn't really watching where he was going, Sorenth not any help in that regard, and R'dan ran smack into another body. "Here now," he muttered, "Why don't you watch where you're going eh?"

RE: 742.09.24 | Land and sea - Yfris - 25.Sep.21

Yfris had spent most of the day drinking and being fabulous on Tazikel’s personal party ship. There had been talks of ignoring the feast and continuing to float aimlessly within the bay until well after the sun set but he hadn’t fully corrupted his friend yet and Tazikel pointed out responsibilities. Truthfully, Yfris would have done the same thing if his Hold hosted a Gather but he didn’t need to point that out.

They had docked not too long ago and while most headed toward the Hold to tidy up and prepare for dinner, Yfris continued to stroll around, a glass of the finest Tillek wine in hand as he did have a reputation to uphold—and he simply wasn’t done enjoying it yet. He was doing just that, taking a sip as he glanced out at the crowd while continuing to walk when he ran into a wall.

Yfris sputtered as he lightly choked on the wine that he wasn’t now wearing and glanced up from his shirt to find the immovable object was a whole tall drink of water that he should have been enjoying on the ship all day in between bottles. “Even if I was watching, I would have purposely angled for this collision,” he replied with ease and a grin, hoping he had wiped away all of the wine-drool in time, though he couldn’t do anything about his shirt.

“I’d ask if you came here often but I don’t so it would simply be a waste of time and a shame to hear you don’t frequent my Hold as often.” Yfris didn’t bother to look to see if the man wore any sort of stripes to indicate if he was a crafter or dragonrider as he would have acted the same way regardless. Life was a lot more fun if one didn’t limit themselves.

RE: 742.09.24 | Land and sea - R'dan - 27.Sep.21

R'dan laughed when the holder sputtered as he choked. He probably shouldn't have but there was a lot of things R'dan shouldn't do but did anyway. Such as giving the man in front of him an appraising look. He was handsome, nearly as tall as R'dan was and the bronzerider's mouth turned up in a delighted grin. "Shall we go back to the beginning and try again?" he asked with a chuckle, "I don't think I would mind so much having you slam into me this time."

Subtle.. You're getting better at that

Sorenth's words brought another chuckle to him and he didn't explain. Let the holder decide what he was laughing at. "To Tillek?" he answered, "I used to, before Sorenth. I always did enjoy myself when I came here." A sudden burst of inspiration had his mind deciding that he needed to take some time with this man. What that time entailed was entirely up to the future.

"R'dan of bronze Sorenth," he said by way of introductions and wiggled a hand towards the vendors, "I should get you some more wine to replace what you've spilled. What's your pleasure?"

RE: 742.09.24 | Land and sea - Yfris - 29.Sep.21

He quite honestly hadn't expected such a pleasant reaction to his flirtations but appreciated it. Yfris had figured the man would be one of the ones that scared easily and ran away from his outlandish behaviour or perhaps one that just stood there, unsure of how to reply. But at the mention of a dragon, it made a bit more sense. He was leaning toward dragonrider or a Harper as the reason for the easy return of comments and was delighted; especially when R'dan turned out to be a bronzerider. He was getting into the habit of collecting and corrupting those.

"I'm Yfris, second son of Misty Hold, which I assure you is far more enjoyable than Tillek." Although Tazikel was finally falling under his influence and making Tillek a bit more fun, Yfris was confident his own Hold still hosted the best parties.

"What's my pleasure is a very dangerous question, my sexy new friend. However, for wine? At this time of day? My tastebuds are still functional so let me show you to where they keep the best vintages." Yfris waited a moment to see if R'dan was agreeable to the idea and then led him toward the dock and the ship he had left not too long ago.

A drudge was cleaning up as Yfris called out, "I've run into a problem. My glass is empty and my friend is lacking a drink altogether. It's utterly tragic and needs to be corrected." A minute later and Yfris triumphantly held up the bottle and two glasses.
