Everything is awful. I haven't even felt like writing poetry lately. Casnovath has started to demand I fly with him to watch the sunsets to try and inspire me because he knows something is wrong but not what. I guess all that practice in weyrling classes with keeping secrets paid off.
At least I have Specter to take care of, he's a cute distraction at least. Hopefully the herbs I add to his meals will help his eyes. But if they don't then at least I'll be able to still fuss over him and try not to think about people dying everywhere. I guess I'm glad I don't feel important enough to be in danger yet.
That just makes me feel worse though. At least I'm alive, no one is trying to poison me or dip me in acid. I should be grateful. It's just hard. Maybe I'll try and get a cuddle in with Fen and R'dal later. I'll probably just sleep on the couch though.
