741.03.01 | Settling In - Cazan - 09.Mar.21

Two weyrs. It seemed almost silly but as Cazan kept arranging and rearranging her work area she realized that it had been a good idea. She didn't have to worry about competing with T'ryn over space for her tools and leather, she could leave the bedroom alone and let Yfris do whatever he pleased with it (within reason), and it just provided more storage space in general. When they had first arrived they'd immediately gone into his weyr to collapse onto his bed, and that had just felt right. She'd been mostly sleeping in his room since, and was content with using his weyr to live in and hers to work in.

There was one time when her stomach had bothered her and she was having enough trouble sleeping that she had left him a note and gone to her weyr to toss and turn without worrying about bothering him. T'ryn had fretted and worried the next morning, and Caz had done her best to soothe her mate, even going so far as to tell him he could always join her in her weyr if he woke up before she did and promising to climb back into his bed if she woke up before him. In the end though she couldn't resist his pouting face and promised to stay in bed with him, even if she was having a tossing fit.

Still, it was just a small hiccup as far as she was concerned. There was no more worry about Syrendryth needing to travel to go spend time with his dragon wife, T'ryn didn't have to go home because he was home. And so was she. Cazan smiled as she put the finishing touches to her work bench. The moment was interrupted as she felt something suspiciously similar to gas but a little different. She reached down to clutch her belly, peering down as the roundness began to gently move. The baby was kicking! She scurried off back to T'ryn's weyr to show him, hopefully she'd get there in time for him to have a feel. It seemed even the baby was settling in.
