742.01.30 | Socialising On Wings - M'quel - 31.Jan.21

Zezeth landed on the grassy fields not far from the main Hall, preening quietly when she was greeted by some of the Hallfolk, never getting tired of the fact that they knew her and would talk to her. It had taken a bit for most of them to warm up to her, but Zezeth was convinced she was charming and irresistible, and managed to worm her way into the affectionate graces of a good number of folk who frequented the Hall.

It was a free day, which meant Madiquel didn’t have any lessons to attend. But that also meant that her best friend also didn’t have any lessons to attend, and Madiquel planned to make the most of that fact. They didn’t get to spend as much time together, anymore, because Vaera had stayed in her apprenticeship classes when Madiquel Impressed, so now Madiquel was about twelve or so months behind her. Maybe a bit less, since she’d been working overtime to catch up, studying diligently.

There she is! Zezeth crooned with delight when she spotted the other girl, and wriggled on the spot where she’d laid down, tail curled around herself demurely. She sent warm and welcoming emotions to the healer, crooning gently when she made it to them. Madiquel threw herself at Vaera, wrapping her up in a strong hug before letting her go with a grin, still holding her hands.

“Wanna go flying? Or visit the Weyr? Any Weyr! Or a Hold. Or a different Hall?” Where was the fun in having an adult dragon, if you didn’t take advantage of their wings from time to time? Madiquel loved flying, and while it had taken a lot of convincing by Zezeth to get her to try with Vaera as a passenger, they’d found the green could handle the pair of them well enough, though Madiquel didn’t like to go for too long on Zezeth’s delicate wings. She doubted they’d ever be able to join their fellow green dragons doing Wing stuff, when that happened, because Zezeth didn’t have even half the stamina of her sisters.

But she was a good flier, and she took pride in carrying both girls. Not that she was supposed to.
