Landen lounged with his feet up on the dividing wall between the stands and the hatching sands, heavy jacket still wrapped around his shoulders even in the heat of the caverns. He was Ista born and the chill of the northern region was still a lot for the candidate to handle. It'd get used to it but for now, Landen was content to wrap himself in his jacket and hang out in the hatching caverns.
Especially now, with snow on the ground and cold in the air.
His breath puffed out as he chuckled when a snore could suddenly be heard. He glanced at the seat next to him and his little blue firelizard vibrated with the force of them. Pie was exceptionally annoyed that it was cold outside, the blue never letting him forget that both of them were not really designed for any type of cold on a regular basis. At least they were warm enough that the damned thing was sleeping. He grinned as the small bod vibrated again. Dumb little thing, but he loved him.
He was quiet when he heard someone enter the sands, slinking down in his seat before deciding whether he was going to get dressed down for skipping chores or if he could charm his way out of it. It all depended on who the owner of the voice was, still a bit to far out of the caverns for Landen to tell if they were male or female. Female would give him a better chance at charming, though he was a fair hand at wooing men too.
