741.06.04 | Momentous Changes - T'ryn - 15.Jun.20

T'ryn.

Syrendryth waited a few seconds and when no reply came, he tried again, nudging his rider with a bit more force. This was important and he didn't want to wait until T'ryn finally roused himself out of the sleep that came after a successful Flight.

T'ryn!

Mm? T'ryn managed to form some sort of mental reply, if only to shut up his dragon. He was exhausted and his limbs were too heavy to even lift a hand to brush hair from his face. He wasn't even sure if it was his hair or Mulrissa's currently annoying him. They had won enough Flights now that T'ryn was aware enough to know when one happened based on how he was feeling upon coming back to his own mind and waking. It also didn't hurt that they had been camping out at Telgar for the Flight to happen so it wasn't an unexpected surprise.

I need your full attention, this is important.

Mmhm, you have it, well, mostly. T'ryn really would have preferred to pass out for a bit before talking to anyone. He was growing more and more comfortable waking up beside Mulrissa thanks to the woman being so chill about everything and guiding him in proper manners or distracting him before he started thinking too much. Because Syrendryth had constantly insisted on visits to Bedith during every Flight cycle and hunting for her when needed, T'ryn had started having lunch dates with Mulrissa while their dragons mingled and it had turned into something that they kept up year round. He considered the woman a friend and the fact that they seemed to have to sleep together once a year no longer bothered him.

Good because that will become a regular thing now.

Someone's extra arrogant today. Another win and now you suddenly think you'll have them all? Honestly, T'ryn was used to his dragon's arrogance since the bronze always judged everyone and didn't think anyone was worthy of his rider.

Bedith and I have mated.

Obviously. It's why I currently don't have the energy to move.

T'ryn could feel Syrendryth's frustration and he sighed in response. It wasn't his fault he had no idea what was going on.

Bedith and I are mates. She is special to me and the only gold I ever want. I am relieved and lucky to say she feels the same for me.

When an immediate reply didn't come, Syrendryth knew T'ryn was in shock and slowly coming to terms with the news that would strike him in 3...2...

T'ryn had a sudden rush of energy as he twisted from lying on his stomach to sit up in bed as he called out, "What?!"
