740.07.04 | Chance Encounter - T'ryn - 04.Jul.19

Madiquel, while always seeming to have been a part of their group of Katilan 'brats, had always been closer to A'tay, likely due to their ages being similar while everyone else was a bit older. Still, T'ryn enjoyed her company, finding her to be a ray of sunshine that brightened any mood. He also felt like he could relax around her, knowing she was never judging anything he said or did. She was far too sweet for such things and he knew he wasn't the only one in their group that did their best to keep her innocence intact. She didn't need to be crushed by the reality around her, though studying to be a Healer would likely end up changing how she saw some things.

Perhaps that was why he had taken to visiting her fairly regularly since she moved into Healer Hall. He enjoyed her company, could check up on how she was doing, and let A'tay know she was just as fine as all their letters back and forth implied. He couldn't wait for his brother to graduate so he could start freely visiting Madiquel as well.

This was an unplanned visit and T'ryn had no idea if Madiquel would be free or where to find her. He had been in Fort Weyr to bring something to Rhaedalyn from Casa--he didn't think the two really knew each other but it was probably a goldrider thing and he didn't ask--so he figured he might as well pop down to the Hall.

Once he entered the Hall--Syrendryth left to sun in a nearby field due to lack of space closer to the Hall--T'ryn decided he really shouldn't be spontaneous with this sort of thing. He had no idea where to start looking for Madiquel or if he was allowed to even wander around with or without an escort.

"Excuse me?" He called out when he saw a petite woman not too far from him. He had a feeling with how quiet the place was, that everyone was busy with studies or assisting those admitted into the Hall with some sort of ailment. "May I borrow you for a moment if you're available?"
