I'd been proud of Vaelya from the moment she'd agreed - albeit a little grudgingly - to be with me. How couldn't I be? The woman was beautiful, vivacious, and perfect. Of course anybody who was going to be with me had to be perfect because I'm perfect and handsome and….

I really couldn't help the laugh when Ironth grumbled at me about arrogant rider's and singular thoughts. Now.. Where was I? Oh yes! Vaelya! Proud I am of her, always have been and always would be. But now? Not only am I even more proud of her, I get to rub it in her face (sweetly of course)! Haha! She never believed me you know? Didn't think mine or Ironth's claims of her perfect dragon simply waiting for her. And as fate would have it Mizeath had clutched that perfect perfect dragon for her. Not just a any old dragon either! Nadioth the gold. Perfect, perfect dragon for my perfect Vaelya.
What? What? It's not like you didn't puff up like the proudest wherry in the bunch when Vaelya walked away with that little gold, Ironth! May vomit my ass!
Huh uh, sure sure, tell yourself what you like Ironth but we both know better, puffed up like a wherry and strutting around like bronzerider who'd won a flight!
