On 742.06.27 Bluerider R'jit was found in his weyr at Fort Weyr lying in a pool of his own blood. He suffered from multiple stab wounds to his abdomen, neck, chest, back, and arms. A single pair of bloody bootprints left the scene. A few hours later, Greenrider Je'ler was found just outside of his weyr in Ista Weyr, clutching a bottle of poisoned wine. It did not match any of the wine he produced. The watch dragon reports that Je'ler had visited Fort earlier that day.

742.05.30, the evening of the Touching for Mizeath's clutch, another tragedy befell Benden Weyr. To officially welcome the Candidates of other Weyrs and the recently Searched while also congratulating them on a successful Touching, drinks and sweets were delivered to the barracks for everyone to return to after dinner.
However, the items for the gold Candidates had been tampered with at some point between preparation and the return of the girls. Two bottles of poisoned wine and a jar of poisoned jam had been added to the selection.
Over the course of the night, girls will start to feel sick to varying degrees depending on how much they ingested. This is an opt-in incident. 4 NPC girls died by morning with many others only falling ill but will recover. Female PC Candidate illness will be up to the player. I'll update this with anyone that participates.
Katiryn sadly passes away from ingesting too much of the poison.
Mylorah ingested only a little and suffered an uncomfortable night of being sick before slowly recovering throughout the following week. Ferra and August also end up poisoned but they both survive.

On 742.05.18 in the early evening, Ameris was leaving the Sands with the intent to grab some food from the Dining Cavern to bring back to her mate and kids. Her good deed was rewarded with another attack where she and her firelizard escort party fought back before the attacker fled. Ameris was injured but will survive.
A solo from the attacker's PoV has been posted. You can find it here

On 05.05.742, Goldrider Mahjory, Healer Rhamnus, and Greenrider N'tir of Benden Weyr were attacked by unknown assailants while out gathering herbs. Goldrider Mahjory and Greenrider N'tir died from their injuries while Healer Rhamnus survived, suffering from blood loss and a concussion. All three suffered multiple lacerations and blows to the head. Healer Rhamnus may have also died of his wounds had his firelizard not escaped to bring back help.

OOC | Guess the Murderer! |

Surprise! There is still a murderer on the loose. It's also about time to point out that there is a prize for figuring out who that person is and why they are doing it.
The killer is a named character (PC, NPC, Adoptable) with a motive. Some hints have been dropped over the event to this. Do you think you know who it is? If so, message me your guess so others won't be spoiled if they're enjoying the mystery of it all. The culprit may also have a few more tricks left them and some more targets before it's all said and done.
If you guess the culprit and motive (or at least the culprit before anyone else if the motive isn't solved) you get an item of your choice from the shop. (Please note that if you already own something that has a limit, like the second goldrider, you cannot get another one.)
Also, please mention if you have a character that would know the answer and why. Just because it's obvious OOC doesn't mean it will be known IC.
Good luck!

On 03.05.742, Goldrider Cazan and her brother Cazelerias were attacked by a masked figure who escaped once Malvayth sent the alarm. Cazelerias suffered a concussion, but healers are confident he will recover, Goldrider Cazan is currently in the infirmary due to the extent of her wounds and complications to her pregnancy.
Greenrider Ravana of Fort was seen leaving the area shortly after the attack, but has disappeared.

On 24.04.742, Goldrider Ashara of Fort was murdered by Brownrider N'mall while he was visiting the Weyr. After drowning the goldrider in her bath, he was confronted by co-conspirator Brownrider D'ser, who killed him before drinking poison that ended his own life. D'ser left a suicide note, detailing his regret in his involvement in some of the murders, but also pride that he had removed what he considered the greatest threats.

Deaths have struck at two different Weyrs! On the morning of 742.04.12, while on his way to visit Goldrider Nerili of Telgar Weyr, who he had originally Searched, B'jin was ambushed by an unknown assailant. His throat was hastily slit, resulting in massive blood loss. He was rushed to the infirmary thanks to the hasty cries of Larrikith. While healers were attending to him, Nerili's dragon cried out for a healer as well before going between. The goldrider was found with a broken neck on the ground beneath a ledge, apparently having fallen to her death.
Later that same day, in Benden Weyr, blue Feeprith cries out and jumps between setting off more keening. B'dor, who was reported by the watch dragon as having been at Telgar that morning, was found dead in his weyr along with his daughter Tavynia, both with their throats slit and lying in pools of blood.

Betting Pool: Heat Wave Hatching |

Someone has started up a betting pool at Benden for Iliyith's hatching. 34 eggs means 34 chances to win some marks...
For convenience, the eggs are all marked with numbers this time. It's an experiment the Healers are running with cooperation from Helyna and Iliyith... but it's also made betting so much more interesting!
Ideas for your bets:
What colour will hatch first / from which egg
Who impresses (at all)
Who impresses a specific colour
Which number is a colour
Which number will hatch first/last
When will the gold hatch
How many of each colour

On the afternoon of 05.04.742 while visiting Bronzerider T'ryn and Goldrider Cazan, Greenrider Parella fell suddenly ill after smelling a flower that had recently been delivered to their weyr. She was pronounced dead by healers as soon as they arrived on the scene. The Weyrwoman's son, Chalrissoram, and Jr. Weyrwoman Lassalla were also found unconscious with similar flowers. They are presently in critical condition in the infirmary.
Any information regarding the flowers or who may have delivered them is sought by Weyrleader S'far.
*Survivors will be bedridden for a few days and find that they suffer from the following symptoms for at least a few months, possibly for the rest of their lives: headaches, occasional twitching, sporadic tremors in various degrees of severity based on individual. This particular toxin is also known to cause miscarriages in pregnant survivors even in small dosages.
